I enjoy the outdoors - hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, camping. Love dogs, have two adventurous kids and two ACL's in my left knee.

The RV was a great resource. Steady as a healthy steed. Easy to drive. Filled to the brim with essentials (comfy bedding, stove, pots/pans, cooler, lights, chairs, generator, etc.) and nice-to-haves (ex. bug spray, flat tire tools, device cables, maps/suggestions, knife) - the list goes on, but to the point, it was a thorough grab-and-go setup that makes it easy on the renter. My experience with Luke was very positive. He was forthright and thorough about arrangements, while having a personable demeanor that made it feel comfortable and that he was looking out for my experience, not his car. He was quick with communications throughout my trip, and provided help when it was needed. I'd rent this van again, or any other car Luke manages!

Very clean ans great for 2 people. We camped at a pretty nice private campground, but honestly, you could boondock with this rig if you wanted. It has enough solar for phones and cameras. And it had cooking gear and water on board. It was easy to drive, with a very respondent owner if you have questions. We rented the bikes and found them worth the money. We found sleeping very nice and dark and the best was really comfortable. Luke is really easy to work with and provides plenty of recommendations in the on board booklet. Was great for my first outdoorsy experience!

This was such an adventure. Luke had EVERYTHING we needed for a wonderful weekend of camping.. ( without the back breaking tent sleep :)) the van was easy to pack up and drive into town, then to sleep. Luke had excellent communication and answered our questions with quick responses! The pick up and drop off were seamless. Really appreciated this experience !!!

Best. Camper van. Ever. I’ve rented camper vans before, and this was by far the best . This is Luke’s baby and it shows . He’s put a lot of time into making this a very well thought out ride . Comfortable and functional, everything you need and little extras you didn’t think about but, truly appreciate (the plug in fan! Amazing!). Also, really , really cool decor. Only bummer was the weather which didn’t allow for Milky Way night photography(the main purpose of trip) … but, that only means I’ll have to rent Luke’s camper van again. Thank you Luke for letting us enjoy ‘Maine Van Life 1 ‘ for the weekend !

Vous avez une question ?Obtenez des réponses directement auprès de l'hôte

Q.Is the bed comfortable?
R.
YES! It's a regular queen memory foam mattress, 60" wide X 80" long. Couple that with freshly washed L.L. Bean linens and you'll be snoring in under five minutes!

Q.What's the bathroom situation?
R.
Unfortunately, right now there is no bathroom. I urge campers, skiers and explorers to pre plan parking spots to be near a bathroom at bedtime or wake-up.

Q.Where should I visit in Maine?
R.
Loaded question! I am more than happy to help you plan a few fun spots in Maine to visit after a conversation about what you're looking for in our great state! I've spent over 35 summers in Maine and know a lot of great places depending on your different tastes.

Q.Can I get some Maine Van Life swag?
R.
Of course! Ask me about some stickers on hand and sweatshirts to order!
