We had a good time in his RV which was placed stationary for 19 days on the property of our son. The double bed was comfortable and well placed to enable each of us to get out at night on our own side of the bed.
However we also had some major issues and therefore want to warn future renters. The wooden kitchen bench is nearly impossible to keep clean. Food stains so easily on it! Even stirring food in the pan or grill plate will cause movements of the cooking top, thus marking the benchtop! Never chop food on this bench, even if it looks like one huge chopping board when you are tired! Steven is very proud of this benchtop and sees this as an extremely disrespectful act if there is any damage on this top. We had to pay an extra $125.- repair costs at the end to make it all pristine again from the minor damage that had occurred.
Also if you use the toilet when renting the RV in a stationary position you will be charged an extra $50.- for cleaning. This is on top of the $100 removal fees.
The other important point is to check out that all basic essentials are supplied, eg proper knives, forks, spoons (not plastic ones), cups, plates, bowls, microwave dishes, cooking knifes, tea towels, broom and pan. Be aware that the fan above the cooking top does not work well and also the heating part in the air-conditioner did not work for us. Also make sure you get a key for locking up the RV. By providing this feedback here I hope that future renters are warned and prepared for everything, and thus will be very successful in their stay.
