2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
This van was custom built by the infamous professional skier/videographer, Bjarne Salen, of Salen Adventure Vans! There are a few unique features to our van:Ski Garage. Dedicated ski garage in back, holds 3 adult skis & boots, with boot-warmer, water spigot, and extra electrical outlet.Retractable Lower Bed. As shown on the pics, we incorporated an upper and lower room (with a retractable bed), so our daughter has a place to sleep when she’s with us (which is most of the time).Burner + Oven. This is one of our personal favorites: our kitchen has Both a stove AND an oven—which we Love.Pullout Fridge. Large pullout Dometic fridge, which works very well and stores a surprising amount of food.Shower + Toilet/Seat Combo. Our shower is actually quite spacious. We put the toilet in the shower, which makes for a very comfortable shower chair while showering.Chairs. All three chairs are captain chairs on a full swivel, back passenger seat is rated for child car seats.Woodwork. After vetting a dozen different van conversion companies, we ultimately chose Bjarne—largely due to his exquisite carpentry work, which utilizes live-edge wood for much of the interior. As you can see from the pictures, the interior of the van is truly a work of art.

We are a family of 3 living in beautiful Lake Tahoe and committed to living an adventure life with our little daughter, who has been skiing with us since she was only a few months old. We love skiing, surfing, canyoneering, rock climbing, kayaking, and all things outdoorsy and adventurous. We built our van with a ski-focus in mind, for strike missions in the winter and Tioga Pass in the late spring/summer. We also go on canyoneering and national park trips every year. We're excited to share our van to allow others to pursue the same adventurous life!
