Rocky’s layout worked great for us! Lot’s of storage space, lots of fresh water, the heater kept us warm during the cold end of September nights and the Van and it’s off grid power system ran like a dream, no planning or thought necessary.

Thomas was very easy to deal with, helpful, and has amazing videos that will show you everything you need to know about the van. We took it from Toronto all across the east coast and it held up even through the weather from hurricane lee! The fact that the whole trip was also pet friendly was amazing. Would highly recommend checking out Rocky for a trip, you'll have a blast! The ability to easily park the van anywhere was an added bonus!

Amazing van! Would definitely rent again. Makes for the perfect road trip, used Hipcamp to camp at some secluded spots & the van offered all we needed to have a beautiful time.

Thomas is a great guy. I had a last minute cancellation from another RV company and Thomas was able to save the day within 30 mins of reaching out and I was able to continue with my planned weekend getaway. The Camper Van was great. Easy to drive and had all the items I needed to make my trip easy and fun. I will definitely be booking again.

Q.Is a van like this reliable?

Yes - the 'T1N' (2000-2006) Mercedes Sprinter is widely considered amongst the most reliable diesel vehicles ever.
I have completely overhauled the suspension system, added brand new tires, completely overhauled the brake system (calipers, rotors, pads) and changed all fluids and filters so it is above and beyond road worthy. Outdoorsy offers 24/7 assistance, but you'd be hard pressed to find a vehicle that is less likely to require it!
Q.How long does your water last?

I am conservative in my use of water for washing up and showering, but I also drink >2L of water a day using the built in filter + coffee and cooking. For me the 70L tank lasts 4-6 days depending on use. If you also fill the 20L expansion container, this goes even further.
The 70L tank can be filled directly from a 75ft hose off a garden tap (included) or by manually pouring a 20L container into it (also included). All rentals will start with a full tank.
Q.Where can I get more detail on the van?

I have created a "user guide" which provides more extensive information about the van's systems and functions, intended for all renters but informative for anyone. I also plan to create a simple explanation video to help with onboarding.
