“Rosalia” The 2020 Coachmen By Forest River

We had an overall very good experience renting from basecamp for our two week trip to Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Zion. The van was very clean, new, well equipped, hot showers, exactly what we needed for two people. The only reason for giving four stars was due to experiencing a battery malfunction toward the end of our trip that caused a six hour wait in 115° heat in Las Vegas, needing a jumpstart, and causing us to lose power for the remainder of the trip (no fridge, lights, or running water, etc). While Arnold was very kind helping us we wish there would have been better knowledge of the vehicle to help troubleshoot the issue and also accommodations offered (like not charging for the day lost and not having power for the remainder of the trip) since the issue was not anything we caused. We leave this as a suggestion for improvement overall we would rent from basecamp again still!

Arnold is super easy to work with, professional and quick to response. Very accommodating with pick-up and drop-off. Rosalia was spotless clean and we were ready to hit the road with less than hour. The van is is to drive and water, waste water, electricity are all intuitive to handle. One back-draw: it’s quite a bumpy ride for passengers on the back seat.

We had a wonderful time in Rosalia! The vehicle is clean, easy to drive, and agile enough to go everywhere we wanted. We used an extra pad on the bed and slept great. Arnold was very responsive when we had questions -- and we had a few! Thank you for making the process easy and fun!

Had a fantastic trip and the van made it all worth it driving through the redwoods. Very clean and professional would DEFINITELY rent through them again. Trip of a lifetime!

Exactly as advertised. Clean. Host was helpful, professional, and quick to respond to questions. I am 6’3” and my head touched the ceiling once. Accessing the back from the driving or passenger seat is a bit awkward but that is an issue with being in a relatively small RV. The back bench seat is kind of cool. We transported another couple with us for an overnight trip and put them up in a hotel for the night. That seat is also where we would usually relax in the vehicle. It is a relatively open space. At night it becomes a barely big enough bed. For someone 6’3”. We drove 2200 miles in 9 days. The seats remained comfortable. If I rent another RV I will absolutely use Base Camp.
