Welcome to your home on wheels! To ensure a wonderful and safe trip for you and to help us keep the Eleonor in great condition for all our guests, please follow these simple guidelines. RV Driving & Safety ✅ DO remember you are driving a large vehicle. Take wide turns and check your mirrors frequently. ✅ DO be aware of the RV's height (10.5 ft). Watch for low-hanging branches, gas station overhangs, and drive-thrus. ❌ DON'T drive on unpaved roads, beaches, or off-road unless a specific route is approved beforehand. ❌ DON'T exceed the speed limit. The RV is heavier and takes longer to stop. Inside the RV ✅ DO ensure all appliances (ice maker, coffee maker, etc.) are turned off when not in use and stored when driving. ✅ DO use the cab-over bed with a maximum of one adult or two children at a time. ❌ DON'T flush anything other than the RV toilet paper. No paper towels, wipes, or hygiene products. ❌ DON'T leave the gray or black water tank valves open. They should only be opened when dumping. ❌ DON'T smoke inside the RV. A cleaning fee will be charged if there is any evidence of smoke. Outside the RV ✅ DO use the generator for electricity in remote areas, but be mindful of the noise for your neighbors. ✅ DO ensure all doors and windows are closed when the air conditioning is running. ❌ DON'T leave the awning extended during windy conditions or when you're away from the RV. It can be easily damaged. ❌ DON'T use the RV's water hookup without a pressure regulator. The provided regulator protects the water lines from damage. ❌ DON'T take pillows or bedding outside the Eleanor. Final Checklist Before returning the RV, please: ✅ DO return the RV with a full tank of gas (unless otherwise agreed). ✅ DO empty and flush both the gray and black water tanks. ✅ DO take out all trash and personal belongings.✅ DO wipe down all surfaces. A quick wipe-down helps us get it ready for the next adventurer!
