2012 Mercedes Sprinter
Avando is a well built surf and snow, mobile command center. It is made from a 2012 Sprinter 2500 with a high roof and long 170" wheelbase with a turbo diesel engine. The van drives like a car and is super smooth on the highway. We have a bluetooth radio and new speakers so you can listen to all of your favorite music or other content. We have a backup camera. The van is super open and bright. It is also insulated and has blackout window shades that are magnetic. We have LED lighting throughout the van and they are all on dimmers. We have a sliding slot bed with a 6" memory foam mattress that is very comfortable for a van. We have a 3000 watt inverter hooked up to 350 Amp hours of battery that will power just about anything you need on plugs throughout the van. The batteries are hooked up to the vans alternator with an isolator (meaning it charges it anytime the van is running but it will not draw power from the starting battery) We have 300 watts of solar on the roof also charging the batteries. We have a very efficient 12 volt fridge that is about the size of a large cooler. We also have a plug in 350 watt heater with a thermostat on it so you can stay warm. We have a large kitchen and dining space. The kitchen holds 10 gallons of fresh water and the stove runs off of campers propane tanks. There are tons of cabinets in the van for storage, storage under the bed, and even open basket shelves. We supply plates, cups, dishes, and pots and pans. We have a portable toilet in the back that can be easily removed to drain and clean. The backdoor has a ladder to go up on the roof where you will find a large deck that is great for hanging out, storing surfboard/snowboards/paddle boards, or anything else. We have an 8' x 8' ARB roll out awning. Both front seats also swivel around for more seating inside the van.
