Trip started with host trying to cancel the trip while we were in route to pick up the RV. When contacting us the day before to find out what kind of vehicle we were going to pull his RV with, he never mentioned a need to have the RV picked up before for a certain time. We were running later then expected the day of pickup however it was till we texted with a new updated from our previous two text that he tried to cancel the reservation. After he was unable to cancel on his end and we refused to pay him directly, not through Outdoorsy, he decided to honor the reservation. From there pick was ok. We did have to pay him for a ballhitch because his was not a standard size. He did go through operations of the RV or a walk through of exterior/ interior. He did not warn us that the freezer doors plastic bracket was broken. When this failed the wood panel fell almost crushing my foot. He told us at drop off that "Yah the delership hasn't been able to fix that correctly yet. Last time they had it for a couple of weeks." A heads up would have been nice. RV wast not stocked with all of the kitchen essentials. Some yes. If we weren't perpaired and also camping with friends who loaned us stuff this would have sucked. Had to clean it on arrival to the RV park. Twin bed bunk had debris on it. Floor was gritty so I mopped. Overall RV was ok. Everything worked.
