Rufus Von Wasatch is our newest adventure vehicle! Professionally built by Thor motorhomes on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, it features leather swivel captains chairs, kitchen fully equipped with 2 burner gas stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, full size bed with deluxe linens, toilet/shower room, 24" TV, loads of organized storage in the back, and a One Up bike rack (road, mountain, and e-bikes available for additional cost)Rufus runs on diesel fuel, but the amenities are powered by 190 watt rooftop solar panel, a 2500 LP generator, plus a 1,000-watt inverter, and 2 house batteries (Of course, there's always the option to plug in with the 30 AMP cord where accommodations allow). There's an air conditioner, furnace, hot water heater, pressure hose for washing off dirty gear, and an LED-lit power awning.Rufus has a propane quick-connect, and comes with a gas fire-pit and outdoor grill. We also include spike ball, and mini corn hole for some outdoor fun!We don't just want to rent Rufus, we want you to have an awesome experience. We are excited about sharing the places we love with you and would be happy to put together suggested itineraries and load the vehicle with food and goodies so that you are can get out and explore from the moment you step into the vehicle and make the most of your adventure!The vehicle is named after our very first Airedale Terrier family member, Rufus Von Wasatch. Raised in Midway, UT, then re-homed to our family in Ogden, Utah, he was always looking for an adventure!! He passed in 2014, and we've been blessed with two more rescue Airedales. How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

This vehicle is perfect for dry-camping or for hooking up at the campground. It has a generator to run the microwave, solar and generator to recharge the deep-cell batteries, fresh water, grey water storage and a cassette toilet that is super easy to empty and maintain. Maximum flexibility to go where your wanderlust takes you!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We can arrange for drop off / pick up from the Salt Lake International or Ogden Hinkley airport or at local hotels. Lockbox pick up is also available for touch less delivery.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

We will do a walk-through orientation on delivery or can send you a copy of a quick video so you can enjoy all the features of the vehicle. We have also included a convenient user's manual to refresh your memory!
