Squirrel Patrol

We loved renting Squirrel Patrol for our Bay Area to Mendocino/Marin getaway. The van is incredibly well-designed with an easy to use bed (a fairly tight fit but otherwise comfy), heated floors, great storage, and everything we needed to cook and relax after long days biking, surfing, and hiking. It handled the coast roads perfectly. A fantastic experience all around. Would absolutely rent again!

Mark is literally the best host! The day before our trip, there was three feet of snow forecasted in Sequoia National Park and he got us tire chains for the next day. I can't describe how incredible this experience with the Squirrel Patrol was. It fit both me and my partner (6'1" btw!) so cozily and drove so well. It was the perfect getaway for our trip from the three feet of snow in Sequoia National Park to the fall landscape in Yosemite. Mark thought of everything and the van was equipped with all that we needed! I would absolutely recommend taking the Squirrel Patrol; the best home away from home!

Incredible van with the best hosts. We got a careful, thorough walk through before we left. Once on the road, the van drove great and had everything we needed for camping. Highly recommend renting this van!

Mark was a fabulous host. His van was great! We loved that it was all solar and battery-powered, no need to worry about propane or have a site with electricity. Loved the electric tea kettle to make coffee and the induction burner was great. Feeezer kept icecream cold all week! The magnetic shades were great at blocking out light and noise. It was so quiet in the van all night. The big tires made every rough road accessible! He is generous with his mileage allowance. Definitely recommend!
