Many guests praise Denes for quick responses and helpfulness with the van's features. However, communication was difficult and unresolved when the fridge broke, and he canceled bookings without notice twice.
Drives well and fully equipped
Guests report the Vanagon drives well, is very comfortable, and perfectly equipped with everything needed for a trip. However, one trip experienced a non-functional fridge for multiple days.

2.0The trip with the van started off great! The van was great and well equipped. Then late in the evening of day 4 of 7 the fridge stopped working. We tried various methods to help charge the battery that it ran on, to no avail. Contacting the owner Denes was difficult as he was on vacation and we had very bad internet reception, if at all. When I messaged Denes the owner at the end of the trip he just said, "Yes I heard about the problem." That's it. Not a very satisfying response.
