Welcome to Lila—a modern, light-filled Airstream Bambi 16’ RB designed for comfort, calm, and connection in the best places nature has to offer! Whether you’re setting off on a weekend getaway or a longer adventure, Lila offers you a grounded, beautiful space to come home to each night. And with lifted ground clearance, beefy tires, solar, and double the propane, Lila is your home away from home as easily off the grid as on.Lila is outfitted with:
• Full-sized bed and privacy curtain
• Dinette for four that converts to second bed
• Kitchenette with stovetop (propane), fridge (electric or propane), sink (electric water pump or attach to RV site water), and microwave (available only when attached to shore power)
• Wet bath (shower and toilet combined in same enclosure) with outdoor sprayer - black and gray tanks combined for 22 gallons
• Heat (propane)
• Air conditioning (shore power only)

In my early twenties, I lived and traveled in my VW Westfalia, exploring the outdoors on mountain bike and paddling the beautiful lakes all over the Pacific Northwest and into Arizona, Utah, and California. With young kids, we traveled with our 1967 Shasta to camp for the weekend, take month-long epics, and several week tours all over the west. Being in the outdoors and in movement is my peace and solace. I have remodeled campers for the road and as offices and now Lila is our mobile refuge on the go for fun and when working from the road. I love to share this experience with others and love the idea of a community similarly enjoying Lila with us!

• Lila is a low key camper for quiet spaces and gentle use. If you are bringing a pet, make sure they are clean before entering camper, have their own bedding, and that they don’t get up on the pleather seats. Thank you!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

When you book Lila, or in advance of, please reach out to let me know your ideal time for pick up and drop off. I can generally be flexible on the time we select but will need to stick to those times once scheduled. If you are on the road and know you will need to adjust your return time, please just reach out.
Q.Can I drink the water from the tap?
R.
Yes. I sanitize Lila holding tanks regularly and you can drink water hooked up at campsite. You may still prefer to bring separate drinking water or a Britta for the fridge. I always bring one extra 5-gallon water jug with potable water when I camp. Just in case there are ever issues or concerns.
Q.Is propane included?
R.
Lila has a combined 11 gallons of propane in two tanks.
For trips 7-days or less, you will not be expected to refill the tanks. For trips more than 7 days, you will be expected to refuel the tank.
Please do not exchange tanks. You can use the local to Moscow U-Haul for refueling the exact amount.
If you prefer not to have to refill the tanks, for trips over 7 days, you can elect the easy return.
Q.What works while on solar?
R.
Your lights, stove, fridge, water heater, and water pump all work with solar/propane. The standard outlets, microwave, and air conditioning will not work with solar. If you would like to boondock and are not familiar with this idea, please reach out so we can chat about expectations. I have a battery pack that can allow you to charge devices like laptops etc. It is so worth getting off grid! And with a little preparation it is wonderful :)
