1Zero stars 8/14/25 – Delivery Day • RV delivered ~1 hour late. • Condition at delivery: • Unsanitary: Bed linens dirty, foam mattress filthy, bedding stained with what appeared to be blood. • Infestation: Ants and spiders in the back room. • Debris: Substance resembling pepper spilled in the sink. • Odor: Strong musty smell throughout. • Owner admitted pre-existing damage (nicks, scratches, and other wear) — I have video proof of him saying this. • Owner also spoke negatively about previous renters, which was unprofessional. • Camper was not leveled; owner said he could not level it. Neighboring campers were leveled, but ours was left tilted. Sleeping in the back room felt like being on a slant. • Witness (Cousin): Confirms RV was unsanitary, bug-infested, already damaged, and that only two adult women stayed in the RV. ⸻ 8/15/25 – First Full Day • 12:19 AM (Text): Generator cut off repeatedly overnight. • First Phone Call: Owner told us to fix it ourselves and threatened to charge a trip fee if he had to come out. • 5:30 AM (Cousin’s Notes): Generator cut off; only one interior light worked. Interior temperature mid-70s °F. • 5:45 AM (Cousin’s Notes): Generator failed again, no lights working, RV heating up. • 6:30 AM (Cousin’s Notes): Generator cut off again. Owner told us generator needed to be leveled, forcing us to go to Lowe’s to buy wood/stone to level it ourselves. • 9:30 AM (Cousin’s Notes): Temp inside 84°F. After refueling, generator failed when using microwave or coffee maker. • 9:53 AM (Phone Call): Owner made offensive comment, telling me to “go flirt with someone and they’ll help you.” • Witness (Cousin): Confirms repeated failures, unsafe heat, and offensive comment. Neither of us slept due to unsafe conditions. ⸻ 8/16/25 – Second Full Day • 11:32 AM (FaceTime): Showed owner generator levels. I had already spent money on gas and leveling materials. • Owner swapped generator for a smaller unit, which was unable to power RV. • Generator was chained too close to RV, forcing fumes inside. • 5:03 PM (Text): Carbon monoxide alarm sounded. Owner told us it was “just the battery” and to open windows. • 5:25 PM (Text): Alarm continued. • 7:35 PM (Text + Photo): Owner added dryer vent and left a hand-held carbon monoxide tracker (the kind runners use). This proves he knew there was a carbon monoxide risk. • 8:26 PM (Text): Alarm went off again. • Witness (Cousin): Confirms second generator was undersized, chained too close, caused CO buildup, and could not safely power RV. ⸻ 8/17/25 – Final Day • 9:03 AM (Text from Owner): “We have a new generator… filling up with gas… will be right there.” • Owner delivered a third, larger generator that finally powered the RV properly. • In-person conversation: Owners apologized and stated we would receive compensation for all the issues and inconveniences. • After this, generator problems stopped, but the trip was already disrupted by sleepless nights, unsafe fumes, repeated calls, and out-of-pocket costs. ⸻ 8/24/25 – Post-Trip Dispute • 9:11 AM (Message via Outdoorsy): I followed up about the promised credit/refund. • 12:36 PM (Owner Reply): Claimed there was damage under kitchen cabinet drawers, said repairs cost $185/hour. • 12:37 PM (Owner Reply): Also admitted damage likely came from a previous renter. • 12:43 PM (My Reply): Reiterated no damage caused, only two adult women stayed in RV, and I have video proof of owner admitting damage was already present. • 12:45 PM (Owner Reply): “Report it.” • 12:38 PM (Owner Reply): “You can certainly file a claim with Outdoorsy and they can figure it out then.” • Deposit refunded, but promised compensation was withheld.

5The RV was perfect. Very clean and the host provided a few snacks and glowsticks for us. The host responded quickly to questions and was available to help. I would definitely book with them again! Keep in mind that you must bring your own bedding and towels but the beds were very comfortable. The RV was spacious and had cool LED lights.
