1996 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds
This vehicle has ceiling Air Conditioning which runs on generator while driving and on campsite power or generator when parked. It does not have dash AC so ask more about this if your trip includes hot weather.
Generator runs on top 3/4 of truck gas tank, it does not run on the last 1/4 of gas tank.
This vehicle does not have ABS system.
Browse the Add-ons and select things like delivery, kit, awning, service for water/waste and propane or truck fuel etc for locations without hookups or other unique generator needs.
Mileage over any included or discounted prepaid, will be at a higher rate at return, .35 cents per mile or see rate sheet.

Host was very informative and detailed about the vehicle. This RV got us through the mountains and into the desert without much issues!

We ended up needing an RV on two weeks notice after our reservation from another site was canceled. Jeffery was friendly and responsive. He did a good job explaining the features and how to use it. He picked us up at the airport on time. Our expectations weren't too high considering we booked a 27 year old RV. I was concerned about its ability to get us there and back. As it turned out, the RV was mechanically pretty solid, it drove better than expected and we didn't have any issues other than a leaky fuel fill tube. The RV shows its age and has plenty of wear and tear. It could have been cleaner as there was dirt and crude from previous trips. It was just three guys, so we managed ok. If our wives had been along, I don't think they would have been as easily pleased as we were.

The condition of the vehicle was inappropriate for a rental. We had repairs that he had not finished by the time we picked up the vehicle. We were at his location on time, but he was not there - likewise at returning the RV. The RV is 26 years old. We suggested to Jeffrey that having a "cheat sheet" with practical info about the workings of the RV available in the RV and online so that the renter can have access to that info while off grid..

A struggle for them every step of the way, driver verification security deposit never completed (it was a mistake the trip was even allowed honestly)
Although a lot of water was used and waste was in tanks and excellent status documented, they claimed they never had use of the fresh water tank, had used the toilet but could not find a dumpstation and seemed to suggest it both never worked and also they couldn't find a dump station and maybe didn't want to be charged for me dumping it. Contradiction for sure, they did use it, it did work (at least for 1 person) and it did have a full tank of water at start and waste on return. Since they never paid the security deposit I have to way to charge them for it and now they don't respond. Do you think I should do this again?
