It's the only place on earth to exhibit nearly all of the earth's climate zones in one small area.You can find climate zones such as tropical monsoon, tundra and desert all within an hour drive of each other.What better way to experience the beauty and wonder of the Big Island than in your own personal campervan!This van boasts a beautiful full kitchen with butcher block countertops, sink, stove, refrigerator, and running water. The bench seating breakfast table converts into a full size sleeping area. The van includes 3 passenger seats with seatbelts, and a hot shower and small potty.*For comfort, please note that the bed sleeps two adults comfortably. Two adults and a small child could sleep in the bed A third adult should use the provided tent and air mattress. Paige and Michael were fantastic hosts! Their communication and tips were spot on. They even came down and dried out our tent and bedding, completely unprompted!

Paige has the van set up with everything you could possibly need! Beyond the basics, she also provided beach mats, chairs, snorkels, a boogie board, and many other fun items.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We can customize any trip! Our main presence is at Kona airport and Kohala Coast resorts so all pick up and drop offs from those areas are free!

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
Electric is all solar. Normal light switches turn on the lights, fan, water pumps, etc.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

Just drive it like a car and we will show you how to work all of the gadgets inside!

Is it hard to find camping spots on Big Island?

Yes, it can be (especially since Covid). We will give you all the info you need to plan and book your own adventure, or we can do it for you based on your desired experience!
