2019 Forest River Salem 260RT
Take your toys with you to the mountains or the lake. Our 2019 Forest River Salem FSX 260RT is the perfect little home away from home. Once you get to your destination, unload your toys and lower the ramp door into your very own party deck to enjoy the outdoors. It will fit a couple of motorcycles, a Side by side up to 64" wide and 75" tall, a kayak, or just a couple of mountain bikes.The camper is fully furnished and ready for you to pick it up and go! We wanted to make going camping as easy as possible so we bought all the things we thought would make the whole experience better. From towing with the backup camera and weight distribution hitch, to setting up camp with a leveling app and fancy chocks and blocks. We have included all the kitchenware you need to make your meals and bedding for the RV queen bed upfront. There is a brand new mattress and mattress pad which is super comfortable. The air conditioner blows cold and there's both a propane and electric heater. The fridge runs on both electricity and propane. There's no oven but the range and microwave are easily capable of cooking your food.This toy hauler is light and towable by any quarter-ton truck (5000lbs dry weight). We have a weight-distribution hitch that you're welcome to use. (recommended)Don't have toys of your own? Hi! I'm Casey and my wife is Brittny. We are both happy to share our toy hauler with you! We have wanted to get a camper for a while and decided, why not get something where we can bring our toys with us! We enjoy motorcycling, fishing and paddle boarding. Most weekends you'll find us either on the water or on two wheels. We are here to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. We may not always have all the answers to your questions, but we will stop at nothing to make sure that your trip is as worry free as possible. We are definitely dog people so we understand if you want to bring your adventure dog along with you. Casey and Brittney were absolutely amazing to work with! We had a few bumps along the way, but they never hesitated to step in and take care of everything quickly and kindly. Their responsiveness and willingness to go above and beyond turned challenges into smooth sailing. It’s rare to find hosts who care this much, and we’re so grateful for how they made this trip possible. We can’t thank them enough and would happily rent from them again in a heartbeat!

Casey knew we needed his camper for sleeping, showering, & light hanging out. You can tell that the camper is not being well maintained with the fact that the rubber seals that should be on the shower doors are in the shower & not on the doors. There has been obvious water damage by the wallpaper buckling in the main area back by the patio door, & would eventually find out the mother board was had been temporarily fixed. When we went to use the shower you could hardly get any water to come out of the shower head. When asked Casey about it he said he knew there was an issue, thought about changing the shower head, & then chose not to. Then we lost all power & communicated that with Casey. He respond with a wrong phone number for himself & chose not to even check up on us to see if the issue had been corrected when he hadn’t heard back from us. I had zero idea I was calling/texting a wrong number. We had to call a mobile repairman that found that the main fuse board wasn’t up to par & could have been a potential fire hazard. After not hearing from Casey after a 24hr period I called Outdoorsy & made a claim. We spent the entire week with zero power, zero AC in 90 degree heat, & lost all our food since the refrigerator wasn’t working either. Even after making the claim with Outdoorsy that we still had zero power Casey still chose not contact us. At the end of our trip Outdoorsy asked for me to message Casey through outdoorsy messaging to ask for a refund. That’s when Casey respond that outdoorsy told him not to contact us & that he would refund what we had paid when we returned the RV. If it was me & outdoorsy told me not to contact them I still would of to get the issue solved. I find it funny that a company would tell you that when the people renting your RV are having issues. Now waiting for my full refund.
