RecommandationsThere are so many great places to camp within an hour of Durango that we can’t pick just one! Great spots for hiking, fishing, biking, bird watching, etc. Just ask me! The host was very nice and quick to respond. The camper was adequate for my needs but I was not thrilled with it! Due to the host having a family emergency, they dropped the camper off two days earlier than it was needed or they would have had to cancel my reservation, so this might have played a role in the state of the camper. It was not very clean, with dust covering everything and the floor was filthy. We did not use their bedding but brought our own. We were able to use the heater for only one night because the propane tank was empty by the next morning. We cooked our meals on a grill outside, so this did not affect us too much. The biggest inconvenience was that we were not able to use the refrigerator unless we wanted to run a generator 24hrs/day! I had not realized it only came with an electric fridge until after I had booked it and the host pointed it out. Again, the camper served its purpose of providing me with a bed that I did not have to struggle to get in and out of after just having surgery and the convenience of an easily accessible toilette. Overall, we had an excellent camping experience with family.
