"La Explora" is the perfect rig for whatever adventure you're seeking! It's a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4, with a brand new 2024 conversion! It was upfitted by TrueVan and totes their “Vision X” layout. It sits 4 and sleeps 4 making it the perfect family getaway vehicle! It includes an indoor and outdoor shower, removable toilet, indoor kitchen/sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, induction cooktop, indoor dining area, queen-ish size bed, and the front 2 seats swivel around to accommodate our Cabbunk system which adds a set of bunk beds. So whether you're a family of 4, a solo traveler with your furry friend, or somewhere in-between this rig is for you. This camper is conveniently located just a short Uber ride from Ontario Airport. La Explora will take the entire family on your multi-state month long excursion or allow you to get last minute fresh tracks at mammoth!-Our van is Road Trip Ready! That means all you need is your clothes, toiletry bag, and to make a quick stop for food and drinks! We’ve got your plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans, pour over coffee, silverware, cookware, wine bottle opener, and more! If you’re not sure if its included, just send us a message and ask us!-BED Systems: The Queen-ish size bed that can fold away to a dinning/office area. Front seats swivel around to convert to a sleeping area for our Cabbunk system which adds a bunk bed for 2! Bedding is included for the queen and sleeping bags are included for the bunk beds!-Electrical System: Huge electrical system with over 1000ah of battery storage and a 2000watt inverter! This van makes the perfect off grid vehicle with the ability to recharge the battery with 300 watts of Solar, shore power, and to draw power from the motor while driving. We also spread out several wall outlets and usb ports to help you keep all your electronics topped off at all times!-Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen! Includes refrigerator, freezer, microwave, sink, and induction cooktop. We made sure we supplied everything you need, including cups, bowls, plates, pots, pans, silverware, cookware, etc.-Shower: Fully contained indoor shower with 24 gallon fresh water tank and a 22 gallon grey water tank. Plenty of hot water for the whole family to take hot showers. There’s also an outdoor shower for when you want to hose off outside!-Dining: The front seats swivel around to accommodate a dining area with our lagoon table, or the main bed area can fold up and convert into a dinning area!-Toilet: Includes a fully removable Laveo dry flush toilet with disposable cartridges.-AIR Conditioner: We went with the Velit 12v rooftop AC. That paired with 2 slider windows and Maxxair fan keep the van cool all summer long!-Heater: We went with the Espar diesel heater that will keep the van nice and toasty all winter long!-This van is the definition of versatile. It fits in tent sites, RV sites, does dry camping, boon docking, RV parks with full hook ups, Walmart parking lots and more! We made sure our van was truly versatile to accommodate ALL kinds of campers.-This van is able to be driven by all skill levels, even if you don’t have experience driving larger vehicles! The van has a ton of state of the art safety features that help with all types of driving conditions skill levels. Its also conveniently sized small enough to fit in your average parking spot.-The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of Diesel Fuel. Only use diesel #2. Absolutely no Bio-diesl or renewable diesel.-We do charge a cleaning fee so that we can have the van professionally cleaned in-between bookings!-We love dogs, however our furry friends tend to leave a mess behind so we do require a pet fee with your booking if you plan on bringing fido along. Any evidence that a pet was in the vehicle without paying a pet fee will result in a fine taken out of your security deposit.-we inform and advise our guests on how to empty our dry flush toilet. -Even though the rig has 4x4 abilities, there is ABSOLUTELY NO OFF-ROADING in this van. The 4x4 is only to be used in snow or soft dirt on maintained fire roads. Maintained fire roads and maintained dirt roads are allowed, however any evidence of extreme off-roading will result in a fine.

Charles and Pam provide thorough briefings, a comprehensive manual, and are flexible with pick-up/drop-off times. They prepare the van fully.

La Explora was squeaky clean when we picked her up and filthy from desert adventures at the end of the trip. We had endless power, used the heat as needed, and drive some dirt roads to boondock away from other people. It wasn't spacious, but it was cozy for 2 people and a dog. Wonderful communication and an easy rental experience. loved it!

Great van! The owners were very flexible with pick up and drop off times. They covered everything thoroughly at pick up, but there's a comprehensive manual in case you forget something. The interior has a very functional layout and it's easy to drive.

We had a great time on our weekend trip in the La Explora Van! It was so comfortable and super convenient from cooking, to cleaning up using the hot water tank. We slept great on the comfy mattresses and the height of the inside was so nice could stand up and move around comfortably. We were warm and cozy the whole time using the solar powered heater. The owners are amazing. So nice and easy to work with they are wonderful people. We cannot wait for our next adventure in La Explora!
