1The problems we experienced were multi-faceted. The RV and its general condition bore no resemblance to that represented in the listing and the RV was in disrepair. We notified the owners of the following conditions upon our arrival: 1. There were no table or chairs. 2. There were no eating/cooking utensils of any kind. 3. There were no usable towels. 4. There was no trash can in the kitchen. 5. The linens on the bed were “pilled,” and appeared unwashed. 6. The refrigerator had not been cleaned. 7. The vent in the bathroom was cracked and partially missing. 8. The latching mechanism for the screen door to the RV was missing such that it would not shut unless the outer door was shut, rendering the screen door useless. 9. One of the cabinet doors in the bedroom could not be used due to hanging on by one hinge. 10. All of the floor vents were mis-sized. 11. Many of the window shades were missing the bottom rods. The owner responded by bringing a card table and a chair, some plastic kitchen ware, and some towels that looked like they had been picked up from the Salvation Army. The owner responded to the broken vent in the bathroom by stating that there was no rain in the forecast and made no attempt to fix it. We did have rain later during our stay and rain did come in. As a result of all the above, 1) my wife had to clean the refrigerator before we could use it, 2) we bought a set of sheets, pillows and pillow cases, 3) I cleaned the floors (though when I attempted to use the vacuum cleaner it shot out water, which I also had to clean). It was about the second night when we first saw the first of the mice. When we notified the owners they responded via text stating “Hey, there are unexpected things that happen in life & this is one of them.” They then offered to come get the RV and reimburse us, as if we could just check into another RV . . . hardly a serious or viable option considering we had driven 2000 miles to attend an event in which all similar resources (i.e., other RVs) were also in use. We bought a variety of mouse traps, which the mice seemed to enjoy moving about the RV as we would find them in new places each morning. It was on the second or third night that they got into my wife’s purse. After that, we had to keep everything we had brought with us either in totes with the lid locks firmly closed or in the refrigerator. Given the ludicrous response we received from the owners (who also suggested that the mice may have come in after we rented the RV) we ceased any further contact with them. The final thing was that the stairs into the RV would not stay level. When we could come out in the morning, they would somehow drop down during the night, making it hazardous coming down them in the morning until I could readjust them.

5This camper is perfect! The living area is roomy, the bed is so comfy, the shower is big! I didn’t even realize it had a tankless hot water heater!!! Will definitely be my top pick the next we need it!
