Clays' Outpost - All Inclusive Vanture

"The Beast" (aka Beasty) is ready to be your home away from home. Fresh linens. Down comforter and pillows. Propane heat vents can run all night towards the bed, kitchen and front of cab (about a week of consistent use per tank). Dimmable overhead lights. Blackout, insulated window coverings keep you incognito. 400w solar + 200amp battery keep the system ready for cooking, charging, working etc. 2000w inverter can handle two heavy duty tasks at once (monitor will tell you how much is being used). ex. Fry some eggs on the induction stovetop while boiling water in the artisan tea kettle or plug your laptop into the 120v outlet while charging your camera batteries at the 12v USB outlet. Remote internet hotspot included. Automatically searches for the best phone provider in the area. Filtered water at sink. Hot (very) water ready for washing dishes, shower / tub (if you fill the tub you will def need to have a spot to refill the tank for the rest of your trip). Beasty juust fits in a regular parking spot. She drives easy, w some minimal clanking from interior home items. All season tires, front wheel drive handles great in the weather but not suitable for off road. Side ladder recently installed for clearing snow from solar panels. Trail hitch could be used to haul. Back "garage" space perfect for your gear. Dry flush toilet for all bathroom needs (electric flushing via 12v / minimal to no lingering smell). Hanging closet / wardrobe space in the main living space w additional hanging rod in the garage. Ample storage throughout. Bench converts to small bed (5.5" length) / thick foam cushion. Everything you need for a Colorado getaway! Pickup address is right by public transit (RTD bus) that arrives from Denver / the airport.
**aftermarket stereo currently only works as backup camera... radio and aux functions for speaker use to come.
Bath towels, cozy blankets + pillows, dishes, pots + pants, toaster oven, coffee + tea, full 40 gallon water tank (filtered water comes from here too), propane tank.
Happy to share some potential parking spots right nearby Boulder if you're hoping to stay close. Eldora is our closest mountain for skiing + snowboarding and has some beautiful runs (always recommend smaller spots like this right after a fresh snow). It's 40 minutes from Boulder and right by Nederland, a cute funky small mountain town w a coffee shop in a train cab (The Train Cars Coffee), gem shop w steals on crystals (Natures Own) and a "Carousel of Happiness". Or visit our closest hot spring caves out in Idaho Springs called Indian Hot Springs. The caves are gender specific (so worth it / or you can book a private tub room) and the pool space is open to all. On your way out there make a stop in downtown Golden for brunch!
Your pets are so welcome. But please take care of any *extra* cleaning that might be needed post trip.

I recently rented a Beasty for a long weekend trip to Moab with my boyfriend, and it was a wonderful travel experience! Beasty worked like a charm and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and worry-free trip.

We absolutely loved Beasty and Faith was such a fantastic host. We took the van out for a long ski weekend and it performed beautifully. Never having driven a van of this size before, it handled really well, even on the twists and turns of the Colorado mountain passes. The inside was so homey and all the little conveniences add up - the shower, toilet, fridge, etc make staying in Beasty a downright pleasant experience! And we stayed warm and cozy despite the outside temps dropping to single digits each night. We brought our dogs along too and they loved van life as much as we did. Would HIGHLY recommend!
