▌ ▌ Adventure's been a theme for as long as I can remember—starting with a second-floor umbrella jump at age four and nearly ending years later in a river hydraulic after a canoe trip gone wrong. Since then, I’ve followed curiosity wherever it led. I’ve written software used by the Canadian Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and hold patents on guitar bodies and fiber-reinforced ceramics. I’ve also copyrighted tools for snowboard geometry and scale flight simulators. I also designed and built the Arctic Joule, a four-man rowboat that crossed the Northwest Passage for a climate change expedition. These days, I design kayaks with Atlantis Kayaks on Vancouver Island. You’ll find me exploring with my wife Karen, laughing with our three daughters, and racing motorcycles on the track when things get a little too calm. ☻/ /▌ / \
