Steer clear.
1. There is no mention in the ad that the battery was not powering the electricity in the trailer. We received a message a few days before the trip that we have to run a generator to operate the electricity. We were at a campground that did not allow generator, and we had to use the RV without electricity during our entire trip. If we knew that this was going to be an issue, we would have cancelled the RV and booked a different one. However, by the time he told us about the generator, we would’ve had to pay 50% of the cost for canceling, so we did not cancel.
2. He charges $100 to fill water before the trip. I have rented several campers before, and the campers have always come filled with water free of charge.
3 . Honestly, I would not be surprised if this host does not want to use the camper because of the battery issues and that is why he rents it out. It all felt very much like a scam to me.
6. He charged us for a replacement for a showerhead, when we did not even use the shower at all. We barely use the camper during our trip because of the electricity issues.
5. The camper itself is nice, and clean. If you are going to a campground with full hook ups, it’s a nice camper. Just know that you need water and electricity for the camper. If it wasn’t for the above issues, I would have given a better review
