We rented the RV to transport my office mangers son from Dayton to Houston Texas. We needed a clean reliable mode of transportation that he and his dad could rest over night in and not have to use public restrooms. I informed Mike the owner of the plans and needs. I informed him that it would be a 2400 mile round trip, and That Jordan had no immune system and it needed to be clean! He seemed to understand and said no problem. The sprinter RV has two beds a bathroom frig and microwave. There is a tv with wifi and multimedia plug ins. We rented it for 5 days not realizing day one starts at 5pm how ever he did accommodate us to allow us to pick it up an hour earlier. Luckily for us Mike and Jordan were delayed leaving the hospital. It gave my wife and I and I an hour to clean the inside of the RV there were spills on the seats the carpets were dirty the outside of the coach was filthy with road grime. The toilet area had a hose sitting on the cooler and rust rings stained the foor the toilet had toilet paper with dried urine from someone who used the toilet but didn’t have water to flush! Gross! The frig was full of mold from being stored with the door shut and no power. The van only had a lil over a half tank of diesel fuel. The DEF tank was at 1/3 full. There was no hood pro rod to hold the hood open to add DEF fluid. Mike gave me a hammer to stick in the hinge! The windshield has a Rock Chip! There were numerous dents we photographed to document as Mike was quick to leave after a very rushed walk through. I noticed after he left and we went to move the RV that the Maintance Required light is on 2500 miles past due! We had to fill the water tank. But weren’t given any instruction on how to drain fresh water tank! He said we were responsible for emptying all tanks. Once Jordan and his dad were on the road they couldn’t get the tv to work they needed a Wi-Fi password I texted him and Jordan’s dad tried calling him to get the info it wasn’t until the next day that he responded! Jordan and his dad made the 1100 miles trip in two days! Thank God and are in MD Anderson getting much needed treatment.
Karie’s brother flew down to Texas and drove the RV back. In the middle of the night while getting fuel he noticed a hit almost burning rubber smell. He looked at the tires the drivers side outer dual wheel was down to 40psi he was able to get to the valve stem and pumped it up to 60 psi they are supposed to be at 80 psi. There are no tire pressure monitors on this sprinter van! He drove another hour to a town that had a tire store and slept in the parking lot. We tried road side assistance that actually took longer than just getting the tires fixed! The tire shop said that the tire failure was due to low tire pressure! They said the tires had the wrong non factory valve stems in that were only rated at 60psi and that the flexible valve stem extenders were wrong and damaged and more than likely what let the air out of the inside dual wheel. That tire had failed the sidewall due to low pressure! The outer tire was compromised by being low and carrying all of the weight! They put the proper valve stems win and two new tires for $489.00 Kevin had to pay out of pocket to fix the tires that weren’t any fault of ours! He finally got on the road again and made it back without any more issues! Once he got back we emptied all tanks. And returned the van. Mike the owner did not meet us he gave us the code to drop it off. I informed him if the issue we had with the tires he didn’t think he should have to reimburse us. He said that’s why you have roadside assistance. I informed him he has a responsibility to provide us with a Safe and Clean vehicle as advertised and one that is properly maintained! He needed to go back to who ever put the tires on or whoever installed different valve stems! He’s lucky no one was hurt and no damage was made from a multiple tire failure! I am still waiting for him to reimburse us for the tires! It’s been a week and a half and still no check.

The RV was great, in perfect shape, easy to drive and great sound system. Communication was great throughout the entire process with Mike. Will definitely rent again.

This rental was made so easily and convenient. Mike was the best host and was available throughout the trip if there were any questions about the RV. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable ride that is easy to drive!
