Our experience with the vehicle was unacceptable. It worked fine when we were hooked up to utilities. In Yellowstone there are no hook ups, the generator had been operating intermittently and the house battery would not charge with the engine running and drained one night at Yellowstone at 10 pm leaving us without lights, NO HEAT, (temp outside low 30's) no water because no pump. We were in Yellowstone with no cellphone reception. Next morning we had to walk to the office to call for help and called the owner and Outdoorsy. Outdoorsy called Road Assistance,...finally at 1 pm the mechanic checked the problem, and found the house battery had no charge , 0 volts. he charged it for a few minutes and we were able to close the slide out to be on the move, we had to pay $121.23. He said we had to run the engine a few hours to charge the battery (the owner had said the same, we followed all the instructions), we went sightseeing and ran engine for several hours, tried to start the generator and it was the same. Around 4.45 pm we stopped at a gas station and asked mechanic to check the house battery and the problem was the same. That meant we would have to spend another night in the cold again, we could not open the slide out, NO HEAT, no water, no lights. I called the owner and explained the problem and I suggested they would help us pay a share of the hotel.... he said "take it up with Outdoorsy we pay them big money to handle problems with the RV". I am a VietNam era veteran, retired 82 years old and would no subject my wife, my daughter and granddaughter to the terrible conditions of the previous night. I searched for a room but the hotels were full, finally after many calls found a hotel one hour and 15 minutes away for one night for $411. Owner would not consider at all sharing a portion of this expense, so we drove to the Hotel arriving at 11 pm. Because of the problem with this RV, we slept one night without heat and water and spent $121 for service call, $411 hotel for total of $532. When we returned the RV to the owner she confirmed the generator would not start. I received email from Ourdoorsy stating owner refuses to pay even for the Road Assistance service call. We paid outdoorsy $ 4301.98 for 10 nights RV rental and only 8 nights were acceptable.
