It took more than 24 hours to figure out the refrigerator as it went into shutdown mode each time the AC cycled. Talking with the owner was no help but we found information online that allowed us to work around the problem which required resetting the refrigerator power several times daily.

Rob informed me that the refrigerator unit was malfunctioning about an hour after the drop-off at 5:52 pm. In response, I immediately reached out to him to offer troubleshooting assistance. During our phone conversation at 6:00 pm, Rob mentioned that he could hear the refrigerator unit running and speculated that it might be cooling again. I reassured Rob that if the problem persisted, he should inform me, and I would gladly troubleshoot the matter. I also offered to visit the site to attempt a repair if necessary.My attempts at communication continued as I contacted Rob again at 7:33 pm to inquire about the cooling status. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response from him until 9:05 AM the following day. In light of this, I shared a YouTube video with Rob to guide him through the process of resetting the refrigerator. At that point, I wasn't aware that newer travel trailer refrigerators had an automatic shutdown feature triggered by depleted batteries, necessitating a reset. This all transpired within a span of less than 12 hours, with no communication initiated by the renter.In regards to the blinds in the unit, I'd like to address an unfortunate incident. Regrettably, the Zebra blinds, a manufacturer-installed feature, were damaged beyond repair due to the actions of the renter. The spring mechanism within the blind was broken, a situation I discovered upon the unit's return. It's worth noting that the renter did not communicate this damage to me prior to returning the unit. Upon my inquiry, the renter attributed the damage to the mounting distance being too wide, although this had not caused any issues with the trailer for other renters or when used by my family over the past year.After seeking an estimate for repair or replacement from Blue Compass RV, I was quoted $250 for a replacement blind, excluding shipping. I opted not to pass on the shipping charges to the renter, only invoicing for the cost of the replacement blind itself. While I regret the occurrence of this incident, RV components are known to be expensive. Consequently, I believe that the responsibility for the damaged blind rests with the renter and not with me.

Patrick was a great host. The very clean RV was sticker with all the comforts of home... and more. His small convenience touches made our stay comfortable and fun. He went through all the tips and trucks with me on using the rental. His response times during the trip with question was quick and useful. I'll use him again for my central Oregon trips. It was great!
