Alex was amazing with communicating with us from start to finish. He’d always replying back within minutes, not hours or days. This vehicle was perfect for an “RV noob” to drive with limited experience driving something this big. It didn’t “feel wide” while on the raids or highway. It did feel long backing up it up, as long as you had someone to spot you while doing so you’re good. The RV was very clean, had kitchen supplies for us to use if needed. My only minor complaint would be it would’ve been nice to know ahead of time that the heater wasn’t working. Alex did provide a portable heater which worked totally fine for the time of year we took our trip. I know out family made lifetime memories in this RV and would gladly rent from Alex again in the future.

He was flexible with pick up and drop off times. He took the time to show us how to operate everything. Well worth the rental price.

This is a very good RV with all the required facilities inside and in working condition. Mr. Alex, the owner was a honorable man, responsive and very easy to talk with.

We had a bad experience with Alex. We reserved his RV to transport our 92 year old mother less than 2 days before our rental, he told us the RV would not be ready and that WE should cancel our reservation. Since Alex was the one who could no longer keep his commitment to us, he should have been the one to cancel; not us, since doing so incurs significant penalties on the renter. He finally agreed to cancel after two phone calls and an email from Outdoorsy to resolve the situation. Do not recommend.

The RV wouldn't start at our 1st campground & we were told it sometimes didn't start because the negative battery connection gets loose and to tighten it (undisclosed before our 2 week trip). This happened multiple times and then the alternator failed 9-10 days into our trip and the RV lost power and wouldn't start while I was driving. That could have been a bad accident with our family. We lost access to the RV and all of our belongings and food for a day while it was repaired and had to purchase a rental car. We were told it could be 1-3 days until repair. Outdoorsy kept in good contact with us during this time and we were thankful. But, Alex offered no reimbursement for the day lost (which also caused us to lose more in tour tickets in the location we had planned to travel to and could not go) or need for a rental car. I asked if there was some reciprocity for this and was just told "I don't know". The first few days were insanely hot in the vehicle with spotty AC and engine heat literally burning my feet. But a few days in we noticed the center console was not fastened down and that improved when we fastened it. The AC worked after the alternator was fixed. A flag did go up when I was asked what my trip plans were and how far I had to go the first night. I asked if something was wrong but was just told water tank wasn't full. We were disappointed with how the engine issue was undisclosed and no reciprocity for us handling it but we enjoyed our 2 weeks of family travel by RV and exploring national parks.

Hi Amy,
We are sorry to heat about experience.
We never had any problems with renters and your trip was the longest one, time and distance wise.
There wasn’t an engine issue. Just a battery connection was loosing up. I thought we had it fixed. Fortunately, the repair shop fixed the connection along with the alternator.
We did reimburse you almost $100 for the inconvenience.

It was a pleasure renting from Alex.
Alex is a good communicator and his RV is clean and well maintained.
This was a maiden experience for us and now we want to buy one.

Alex was always in quick contact if there were any issues, which was greatly appreciated. This RV was an easy drive with simple maintenance, so great for first timers. I do recommend, especially for the price.

Thank you for the great review! I really appreciate it.
I fixed the refrigerator. It was just a blown fuse:)

We had fantastic experience renting this camper for our trip. Alex is super easy to work with, accommodating on time scheduling and best part - quick responses !! Recommend if your looking for a stress free vacation trip! Alex provided most basic things that we would otherwise have to carry (or buy if you don't have) like enough utensils, cutlery, kitchen tools, firewood, canopy (10x10), rest room cleaning material, toilet paper, filled propane etc etc. While if all good, there were few downs like - faced difficulty in the refrigeration cooling, I guess service is due & one time had to use jump start, didn't know battery had loose connection - that I learnt later.
But if those little noises aside, overall experience pretty good.
