À propos de Joel Brenneman

Our family spends part of each year at a mission station in Liberia, West Africa. The RV is our home when we are stateside. The rest of the time it is available for your vacation! Any profits support our mission there. Enjoy!

The owner was quick to respond and dropped off the RV as promised. Overall the experience was ok; however, the air conditioning kept flipping the breaker. Additionally, the air conditioning was dipping water on the floor. This was a constant headache as we was continually emptying pans of water and wiping the floor. I told the owner and he said it would be fixed for the next person.

DANGER - This Rv was not safe for the road. Do not rent!!!
1) We had two flat tires at two separate times, that delayed our trip over 10 hours making us drive through the night to get to our destination without losing reservations/nonrefundable money. The back tires were over 5 years old and dry rotted.
2) The siding flew off over the passenger door only 200 miles into our trip. We spent rolls of duct tape and packs of zip ties to keep more from coming off or making the situation worse. You could see light and hear wind through the wall and our kids were terrified thinking the wall was going to fall apart and suck them out going down the road.
3) The refrigerator starting falling out of the wall on the second day of our trip. We had to stand and hold it going around curves. We finally spent $25 for a strap to put on the fridge to not have to hold it.
4) The generator would start and run but NOTHING WOULD WORK from the generator. At pickup, it was stated "the previous renters had an issue with the AC, but I haven't been able to get it checked out."
5) We should have known what we were getting when we had to come home and spend 3 hours cleaning it before we could even begin to get the septic tank smell out along with trash and wiping down the surfaces to start prepping/packing it for our trip.
6) After our return, we were charged $500 for over mileage which was about half of what we owed according to the agreement. However, the "owners" (not Joel) quoted statements and lines from the agreement how they were not responsible for our problems, stress and how this RV could have ruined our trip. Joel did offer for us to take it to a repair shop while we were on our trip but with our schedule, we had to have the Rv we rented to live in and use to travel daily. There was no feasible way to get it repaired without completely ruining our trip and losing payments we had prepaid for reservations almost daily.
