We had a great time at Viktors RV!! Everytime we need something Viktor was there and helped!
The RV was really clean! The equipment was really basic, but all in all you have everything you need.
We definitely would come back and rent the RV from Viktor!!

We are thankful for the kindness of Viktor and his wife.
They are super friendly and respond really quickly. The van was super clean when we arrived. We did not have any issue with it.

The van drove perfectly, with no mechanic issues, and inside it has everything that you need and just enough to accommodate our needs..it has a fan for the night when we need it and it works fine. He has flannel and cotton sheets that I like better, that was so nice. We had a wonderful time and we are very happy to rent from Viktor.

We absolutely loved Viktors Mercedes campervan. It was very clean and organized. He has it equipped with everything you might need. From a mirror, to a fan (we were so thankful for the fan!), a very comfy bed, paper towels, utensils, spices, cleaning supplies, a trash can. Viktor has thought of everything. We slept so well, the bed is extremely comfortable. We would definitely rent this van again if we were ever in Maui!

We had a great time visiting Maui with Viktor's van! My husband and I spent 8 nights in January 2023 in the van and found that it was super well equipped. It had all the basic kitchen necessities, a shower, a toilet, etc. We cooked 1-2 meals in the van every day.
Viktor was very responsive leading up to our trip and while we were in the van too. He was extremely kind with us, offering to keep our surfboard bag in his garage that we couldn't quite fit in the van (we had 2 short boards and 2 longboards in the van with us).
We would definitely rent Viktor's van again, or even just visit him for a drink next time we are on Maui :)

We booked this van 'cause me and my boyfriend wanted to be freely and see the landscapes of Maui.
The van of Viktor was a great choise, we could take a shower whenever we wanted and having a toilet was great 'cause we didn't need to search public restrooms all the time. Therfore was the great solution.
There is no fridge, instead of that there is a coolbox that you have to fill up with ice and it works very well.
The van drives very well, it's easy to drive and it also doesn't consume that much fuel.
We did the road to Hana easely.
It's a great solution for you if you want to be free on this beautiful island.

Viktor was an excellent host and his van was just as great! Viktor was very communicative and responsive when we messaged with questions. He went above and beyond in showing us hospitality and making sure getting the van and dropping it off was as easy as possible. The van itself is well set up, and had everything we needed! The shower, sink, and toilet were all easy to use and the backup cam was a great help in driving. We were even stopped multiple times on our travels by people that were complimenting the van. If I found myself in Maui again I would certainly rent this again.

We had an amazing experience exploring Maui with the van. The interior is very beautiful and clean and the van had everything we needed. Viktor was very helpful and responsive. Would def recommend his van.

This listing is inaccurate. There is no ceiling fan or AC, aside from the front seat AC that every vehicle has. We chose this van because of the amenities. We attempted to make it work for our trip anyway, driving to the east side for camping. The van was terribly difficult to drive through the curves of the road to Hana and sleeping at night with no AC was extremely uncomfortable. We asked Viktor the next day if we could return the vehicle for a refund and he not only refused but was rude in the process and denied his listing having inaccuracies (he believes the front AC is the same as listing AC as a camper van amenity - as van owners ourselves, we know this is not the case). Other issues included him not checking us in at arrival (his wife who was unfamiliar with the van gave us the “tour” - she couldn’t even open the back door without us showing her how), having the van over 2k overdue for service (he denies this saying the servicer forgot to reset the notice; who knows if that’s true), and being told we could only use the toilet for emergencies (then told that we “didn’t understand what his wife said”). We wasted the first two days of our vacation driving all the way to the east side and back just to end up paying for an Airbnb and rental car, which of course was a fortune to book last minute. All the while Viktor was rude and unhelpful. We really aren’t the type to complain, but this experience really was terrible. We are hosts ourselves and can’t imagine treating guests this way. If you’re going to rent this van, make sure to buy yourselves a fan and only sleep on the less humid west side of the island. Definitely wouldn’t rent for summer. Also, the photos make the van look much better than it is. It’s a budget option at non-budget pricing. Whoever converted it didn’t do the greatest job - the lock that holds the cooler in place is finicky and doesn’t work half the time, the blinds are held up with pvc piping, the sink is operating with a foot water pump, the toilet smells horrid (good luck emptying it since they’ve locked the pipe and you’d need a screw driver to dump it the normal way), the list goes on… anyways, you’re better off picking another van.

We apologized for the misunderstanding of AC unit & roof fan. Under the amenities checklist, there's no option to list the roof vent. And because the van doesn't come with solar panels, there's no extra electricity for extra fan & AC unit. A proof of service was located in the glove box which you must have missed to check and I mentioned I have proof of last service to show October 4, 2022. They must have forgot to reset. To go back just for a reset is not easy as what everybody think and making an appointment here in the island is also not easy, it will take 2-3 months before you get serviced. The next time I'll have it serviced again is not until January 2023. Regarding the potty. before renters come, we make sure everything is clean and disinfected including all surfaces and floors, and no one ever complained except you. The potty pipe as you were saying, is not locked, only clamp for more security not to spill especially on Road to Hana or on curvy roads. I offer the renters I can empty the potty once full and fill the water tank, without any extra charge and a free drink while they're waiting. Thank you for inspecting my van. How the pictures are posted are exactly what renters are getting. No need to make it special as it is what it is or what you see is what you get. I never cheat my renters. And the key exchange is either me or my wife, whoever is available at home. My wife gave a friendly advice where you can go and explore Maui, including public beaches with restrooms and never said you can not use the portable potty. The portable potty is there for comfort use and that's common sense. Thank you for your review, it served a growth for improvement for my van. Have a blessed day.
