None of the guages work. The gas gauge, the grey and black water guages, the propane guage... none of them work. The fridge is also dodgy, warm one day and frozen the next. All are fine except the gas guage, we just had to keep filling it up since we had no idea how much was in there. We also have no idea how much gas it had when we started... the camper is also very old and did not do well on hills or dirt roads; which there are a lot of on the island. The host was great, though, and even gave us a ride to and from the ferry! The camper worked well enough for our purposes. We had a lot of fun regardless.

The condition of this RV is extremely poor and was the worst experience we have ever had of renting a vehicle. When we picked up the RV the owner told us that some of the functions were either not working or not reliable such as the light panel which shows waste, LPG, the fuel gauge and the ignition. It wasn’t until we drove off we began to notice how dirty it was including hair in the shower, rust and dirt in fridge, dirty marks on wall and clearly hadn’t been cleaned even though the owner assured us he had cleaned it. A few km’s into the journey we were hit with a foul smell of sewage, it turns out the RV’s waste tank had not been emptied from the last customer! Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse on the first day of our rental the RV would not start and we had to leave for over. 45 minutes before it would start again. Clearly the RV has some intermittent electronic ignition fault which the owner did not dispute. We also noticed dampness when we had some heavy rain inside by top bed.
