The campground is strategically located near various points of interest, including Jeep and horse trails just a few miles away. For those seeking adventure beyond the campgrounds, the town of New Lexington is a short ten-minute drive, offering a convenient spot to replenish supplies. Nearby attractions include the Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve, Smoke Rise Ranch for horseback riding, and the Murray City Coal Mine Museum and History Center. - Check-Out: 11 am
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.Campground Rules:
- Use of chainsaws is not allowed.Fireworks
- Fireworks and discharging of firearms are prohibited on Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC property.Fires
- Fires are only permitted in fire rings and must be monitored at all times. By lighting a fire, you are accepting responsibility & consequences of it.Generators
- Generators may only be used between the hours of 7:00 am - 10:00 pm.Pets Policies
- Pets must be leashed.
- You must clean up after your pet.
- You are responsible for your pet while on Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC property.Children
- Children must be supervised by an adult.
- All liability for the child remains with the responsible adult.Garbage Policies
- Dispose properly of any and all garbage brought in.
- My trash is my trash until disposed of in the proper receptacle.Alcohol
- Alcohol may not be consumed while riding trails are open (from a half hour before sunrise to a half hour after sunset) and should only be consumed in moderation.
- Excessive intoxication could result in being asked to enter and remain in your sleeping quarters.APV Rules
- Helmets are to be worn at all times including during the loading and unloading of APVs.
- All ramps used for loading and unloading APVs and equipment must be secured to the vehicle/trailer.
- Washing APVs or vehicles on gravel roads or with Perry Backwoods water supply is prohibited unless in the designated area. If caught a fee of $10 will be charged for water usage. Riding is only permitted to and from the Perry State Forest trails.
- Marked speed limit must be obeyed at all times.
- Joy riding and hot laps are not permitted.
- We recommend that all riders become members of the OMTA for a fee of $20.00 per year per rider for liability insurance. Ask us how.Incidents and Penalties
- Report any hazards or incidents to a Perry Backwoods associate or the Owner (330) 224-0759. Anyone caught on Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC without authorization or owner's acknowledgment will be charged a $100 fee or be prosecuted for trespassing. Any damage incurs while at the park, will be at your expense.
- Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC is not responsible for accidents or any lost or stolen property and understands you are riding at your own risk. Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC has the right to refuse anyone service.
