If anyone knows travel, it’s Monet Hambrick. You see, Monet is the brains behind The Traveling Child, and she’s traveled to so many places we lost count. So it comes as no surprise that Monet wanted to try her hand at RV travel.
To do this, Monet turned to Outdoorsy and rented a Class C RV for a recent family road trip.
“It was super easy to rent, and the person we rented from gave us a rundown of how to operate everything,” Monet says. “We loved how much space we had in the RV and how convenient it was to make lunch at the national parks without having to leave or spend a lot of money.”
Monet took the 8-day RV trip with her husband and two daughters and has plans to take a similar adventure again soon.
“We started in Las Vegas and drove to Arizona and Utah,” she says of the trip. They checked off bucket-list destinations like Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, and Sedona.
Packing so many amazing places into such a short amount of time made for a trip ripe with quality family bonding time.
“My daughters would say their favorite part of the trip was making S’mores at the RV park,” Money says. “My husband and I really enjoyed Monument Valley and our tour with a Navajo tribe member. Of course, I will also never forget seeing my daughters’ faces light up when it started snowing in the Grand Canyon on Thanksgiving Day.”
Monet says she now highly recommends RV travel through Outdoorsy to her friends.
“The process [on Outdoorsy] was easy and there are so many options for great RVs,” she says.
