Huntington Beach State Park offers several trails ranging in length from under a mile to about two miles one way. The Boardwalk extends one-tenth of a mile into the saltwater marsh. The Kerrigan Nature Trail covers three-tenths of a mile along a boardwalk into a freshwater lagoon. Sandpiper Pond Nature Trail is a two-mile hike that winds through some of the upper coastal beaches.
