The city of North Augusta is scenic and full of lovely little parks, a fact in which the city takes immense pride. Riverview Park and Activities Center is a one hundred fifty acre complex close to the river where there is a large track and field facility, several baseball fields, and a disc golf course. If you take Interstate 20 west towards Athens, you can visit Oconee National Forest to see one of the most beautiful parts of Georgia. This sprawling forest covers over a hundred thousand acres of mountains, forests, lakes, and rivers, and is popular for fishing and hunting among other things. Chattahoochee National Forest is the other major forest in Georgia and it's just a little bit further away if you are up for a road trip in your North Augusta luxury RV rental. Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site demonstrates what upper-class society looked like in the mid 19th century. Built in 1859, this Greek revivalist style structure was donated by the family to become a local landmark and historic park.

SRP Park located in the Riverside Village at Harpers Ferry is a great place to catch a baseball game. The park is home to a minor league baseball team, the Augusta GreenJackets, and has very affordable prices and great seats. Augusta has some great attractions of its own on the other side of the river, but the most notable is the Masters Golf Tournament that happens once every year at the famous Augusta National Golf Club. Known as one of the four “major” tournaments in golf, the event has solidified itself amongst the most important sporting events of the year.
