-Rental Policies- Overland Outfitting complies with all policies required by Outdoorsy and their business partners necessary to maintain valid insurance and roadside assistance services. All campers and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following each rental. We follow CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting to prevent the spread of all communicable diseases, including Covid-19. All campers and equipment are expected to be returned reasonably clean. Excessive mud and sand, uncleaned cookware, utensils and flatware are considered unreasonable and a $25.00 Excessive Cleaning fee will be charged upon return as warranted. All rentals are SMOKE FREE. A $250.00 fumigation fee will be deducted from security deposit if tobacco or marijuana smoke is detected upon return. No climbing on roofs or fenders. Damage incurred and equipment malfunctions are to be reported to Overland Outfitting as soon as communication channels allow please. Standard Delivery/Pick-up time is 2:00PM-5:00PM. Standard Drop-off time is 9:00AM-1:00 PM. -Towing Policies- Prior towing experience is required. Working trailer wiring is required prior to hand-off and is the sole responsibility of the renter. Brake controllers REQUIRED for all units that have electric trailer brakes installed. Renter assumes all responsibility for any damage and injuries that occur while towing without a working brake controller. Locking hitch and coupler pins are required at all times. (Provided at no cost as needed) A back-up spotter is to be used whenever one is available.
