Impeccably clean was my first impression. The description said that, but they often do. This gorgeous trailer looked as though it had never been used! I rented it for a little solo getaway - some time to myself as a busy mom and professional. It was exactly what I was looking for. The days I rented it for were the hottest of the year so far and I was grateful that there was a highly effective air conditioner. When I was hanging out inside, I only needed to turn it on for about 5 minutes every couple of hours, and it cooled the whole unit down within minutes. At night, I left it running on low, and slept like a rock (I like white noise). The kitchen had everything I needed and I had fun creating my own little charcuteries to enjoy as I sat at the comfy kitchenette and caught up on my novel reading. I brought all my favourite foods (and wines), and there was a ton of room in the large fridge for all of it. I especially appreciated the little added touches of the wood-grain tableware, stemmed unbreakable wine glasses, and a drawer full of everything I needed to make my meals easily. The only thing I found was missing was a little shelf to put my phone and a glass of water on by the bed. I would say my favourite parts were the Bluetooth hardwired speakers so I could listen to my playlist as I enjoyed my indoor time, as well as the individually controlled lighting. I'm a sucker for ambiance. :) When I arrived, the host was thorough with the walk-through, but also efficient. I was solo for my stay, but even when the two of us were in there at the same time, I noticed it felt like a decent-sized space. The hallway is nice and wide. The host quickly popped up the dining tent for me before leaving and it was relaxing to sit out there in the evening (without bugs) once it cooled. Arrowhead is one of my favourite Provincial Parks. Great for hiking - I hit the trails during early mornings to beat the heat. The sites are also really private and I felt like I was truly in deep nature. I hate the word glamping, but to be honest, it's kind of what I needed - the perfect mix between some time in the woods, and a fancy little getaway space to reconnect with myself. Definitely going to be an annual rental for me.
