2013 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Majestic
Midge is very easy to drive. She features an automatic with cruise and overdrive options. There is a TON of storage space in the cargo area at the back for all your luggage and personal items. The spec sheet tells us Midge features a 150L fresh water tank, 92L grey tank, and 92L black tank.Midge has a 3 burner propane stove top, microwave, sink, fridge/freezer, ceiling mounted electric AC unit, heater, plenty of cabinet and overhead cupboard space. She also has a rear bath which includes a sink/vanity with a mirrored medicine cabinet, an adult shower and a foot flush toilet.Please note Midge will be winterized at the end of September, meaning there will be no water services (toilet, shower, sinks/taps) available past that point until next spring. We're big fans of spending time in Banff and the gorgeous Rocky Mountains (which are ~ 1 hour west of Calgary), so we head that way most often! There are plenty of adventures to go on, from easy hikes to horseback riding, kayaking on the river or checking out the Gondola on Sulphur Mountain! This is our family motorhome, so we're looking for renters who will treat her like we would.Since the owners have strong allergies to most pets, we unfortunately can't accept reservations with pets.We are non-smokers, so no smoking or vaping inside the unit.No climbing on Midge’s roof.A damage inspection and inventory will be completed upon pick up and drop off which you will need to acknowledge and sign. This process shouldn't take more than an hour and will familiarize you with Midge, how to empty tanks, how to drive her properly, and what to expect…and will let us get to know each other :)Accepting the roadside assistance and insurance coverage is mandatory.Other fees:An Uber to/from the airport is ~ $25 each way.If you would like Midge brought to / picked up from the airport, a fee of $75 for each will be applied. Please provide ample time from the airport for your flight and Midge's check-in / check-out process.Midge will be provided to you clean both inside and out. There is a required $150 cleaning fee, which will be used to sanitized and clean her to our standards. Please return Midge in the condition you received her in to avoid additional charges. If Midge's exterior is exceptionally dirty or requires extra washing, there is an additional charge of $100.If the water tanks (black, grey, fresh) are not empty upon drop off, there will be a charge of $100 for emptying.Midge’s gas tank will be full at pick-up. If her gas tank is not full at drop-off there will be a charge of whatever the cost is to fill it up, plus $100 for our time to do so.If it works for our schedule and you'd like to pick up early on the same day, there is a $30/hr early pick up fee. If you would like to pick up your reservation with Midge a day early, the daily fee applies (if she is available).If you are late to drop Midge off after the agreed upon time, there is a fee of $30/hr until she is returned (if this impacts the rental after yours) and a fee of $30/hr until the daily fee is reached (if it does not affect the rental after yours). Arlene was the best host I’ve ever encountered! Upon arrival, she was outside waiting for us, we did a thorough walkthrough of the RV, Arlene was very honest and pointed out the damages on the RV we didn’t even see. The day before the return, we asked for extra time on the RV, Arlene was able to make accommodations with us, when we had questions, Arlene always responded promptly. We drove from Calgary -> Banff -> Jasper and back, had no issue with Midge, everything worked properly and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend Arlene and her RVs!

Arlene is the perfect host! She was extremely helpful and accommodating with all of our requests. By mistake, our group left behind some pet hair that transferred over from blankets that we brought from home. We were not charged extra, even though Arlene had to steam clean the upholstery! Had an amazing trip and Midge was the perfect companion

The pet hair was a bit of a surprise, but we know it wasn't intentional and we're always happy to try work with our guests...we were lucky to have a few days before Midge's next rental so there was some extra time to do the steam clean and let the upholstery dry out. :) Thanks again!

The RV was as described. It would have been helpful in the description to list some more details like has toilet paper, numerous utensils for cooking, has cleaning products. We brought a lot of this stuff as we assumed the RV didn't have these things.

This was our families first time using an RV and Midge was excellent! The first night we were having some battery issues which would have affected the heating at night. Arlene was a great host and drove down to our campsite late at night to replace the battery so we were able to sleep with comfort and enjoy the rest of our trip. The duvets provided were so warm and perfect for our stay in the mountains. It did get really chilly at night, so it was appreciated. The RV was clean and everything worked well for our family. My only suggestion would be for an improved check out process, such as a locked drop off box. Overall I highly recommend this Rv with Arlene as a host.
