Résumé de l'évaluation
Helpful, but inconsistent support
Guests commend Alex for being helpful, communicative, and flexible with pickups, even offering upgrades. However, there are reports of slow responses to critical issues like faulty trailer brakes and a generator being empty on pickup.
Easy to tow and set up
The trailer is praised for being clean, easy to tow, and user-friendly for setup. It's considered spacious and comfortable. Critical feedback points to limited off-grid features (no propane heat, fridge needs generator/shore power) and a reported faulty trailer brake.

4.0Well equipped and clean. Very easy to use and tow. I missed in the ad there wasn’t propane heat. It’s definitely in the ad, so as described but I missed that and we were a bit cold. The heat requires a generator and we were boondocking.

2.0The trailer brake did not work. There was a fault. When I reached out the owner did not respond in a timely fashion. It was regarding the trailer brakes. No offer to rectify the situation. Also, I rented the unit until Tuesday at 5pm. I received an email from outdoorsy stating I had to return the unit on the 6 th. I did so by 7 pm. I paid for a full day of which I was not able to use the unit.

3.0The trailer is awesome! The host was not as responsive as we would have liked in this situation and the generator we paid extra for was out of gas when we picked it up and didn’t realize that until we got to our camp site.

4.0Overall, a decent trailer, but not as ready for off the grid living as described. It’s basically a box trailer with a bed and sink. For example, fridge requires shore power or a generator to run 24/7 for it to work vs many camper fridges run off the propane. Beds are not queen size as advertised. No water heater, awning had been removed/didn’t work, no furnace so the heat would also require shore power.

Foire aux questions
Q.
What do I need to use the A/C unit?
R.
30 Amp shore power or a 3500W generator or better is needed to run the overhead Dometic AC unit.
Q.
What can I tow this with?
R.
Highly recommend having a full sized SUV or bigger, capable of towing up to 5k pounds. Most half ton pickups should have no problem towing this. Please confirm vehicle abilities and specs before renting.
Q.
What can I haul inside?
R.
ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Mountain Bikes, Kayaks, Bicycles, and certain UTVs are all acceptable vehicles to haul. Sorry, no snowmobiles or anything with tracks or skis. Confirm size of vehicles before planning to haul.
