Denali's Doorstep is the name we've chosen for our 30ft Class C Winnebago Minnie Winnie motorhome as it takes us to our favorite places in Alaska, and all we have to do is walk out the back door. As a 20+ yr Veteran Air Force family, we have fallen in love with Alaska. We have explored almost every major road in the state. And there's no better way than in our RV!Features include a huge slide out, large holding tanks, & plenty of storage. The kitchen has every appliance you'll need to enjoy a meal together - including a coffee pot. With room for 2 over the cab, 2 on the pull out couch, 2 in the fold down table bed, and 2 in the bedroom, you and your family will be enjoying Alaska in the most comfortable and exciting way possible! If it rains we have some DVDs and board/card games for you to enjoy.With so much to see in Alaska, you'll hate wasting the daylight sleeping! But there's nothing better than being able to just pull over and take a quick nap while your family prepares lunch in the kitchen. Bring your sleeping mask, cause the sun never sets in the summer time!When planning your trip, try and book "full hookup" sites. You'll be much more comfortable! IF you're an experienced RV camper - we will allow you to use the RV in its "boondocking" configuration with the fresh water holding tank and batteries. Otherwise - please stick to campgrounds that have electric and water hookups at minimum.One of our Favorite spots to camp is actually our own property just outside of Cantwell, AK. It's the Perfect place to enjoy one of the most amazing, scenic, beautiful, and easily accessible Alaskan RV camping destinations in the state. It's a Must see if you're headed to Denali National Park!

But you really need to continue north to experience Denali National Park and to see the tallest mountain in North America. Our property in Cantwell is the BEST place to stay - just outside the park. Stop for some ice cream on your way and check out Tenderfoot Campground - a secluded but easily accessible half way point. Then head down to Homer to see the mountains drop into the ocean and catch a Halibut or two.With so much to do and see, you'll hate wasting the daylight sleeping! We are a Veteran Air Force family in Alaska! In addition to sharing our travel trailer in Alaska, we have cabins and tent sites on property we own in NC. My ancestors have owned the land our NC cabins sit on since 1836. In fact, my mother grew up there after my Grandfather returned from WWII, when there was no electricity and the outhouse was a bench over the creek. I grew up exploring the mountains with my brothers and our BB guns. When we were stationed in Alaska for 6 heavenly years - we purchased a remote parcel of property and have slowly developing it. We put a cabin in the fall of 2023. It's the PERFECT RV camping spot "Denali View". Combined with the Motorhome - it really is Denali's Doorstep.
