G [the host] was quick to respond, kind, accommodating and so generous which made the van rental & trip that much more smoother & possible as we navigated renting a camper van in the PNW for our first timethe camper van was exactly what we needed for a short 2 day trip. the size of the van made it easy to drive, & the mileage was great - which felt like a huge relief for WA gas prices. also recommend the size of the van. especially for people who may not be used driving massive campers. also had everything we needed - from solar panel lights, mini fridge, dimmer lights in the van, ample hooks to hang things, quick charging ports, kitchen utensils, camp stove, bedding.would rent again - highly recommend!

Cathy and I thoroughly enjoyed our four days of comfortable travel in the Surf Hippo. It is one sweet van! The layout is both efficient and elegant. We were cooking for 8-10 friends and family and the large stovetop and oven were perfect for our needs. The Hippo was very clean and well-equipped for camping and adventuring We let a few friends—who have outfitted their own vans—tour the interior of the Hippo and they were very impressed. I even sensed a little van envy :)Travis did an awesome job of quickly responding to all of our questions. We had never rented a van before, so we had a lot of stuff we were curious about. It was great to meet Travis and his family. We will definitely rent from Travis again.
