Must be able to drive a manual transmission!!!
Worry free pick up and delivery bus will be clean and disinfected. Hands free pick up and delivery available. Safest way to vacation on the island!!Betty is a 1984 vintage VW Westy full camper with all the goodies. Betty has a a pop up top with a sink,stove,and comes with a fridge. The bed sleeps two and two more up in the pop up. I have a backup battery with a isolater installed so that you can use the sink etc and still be able to start the van without having to drain the main battery. She’s super comfy and runs like a champ. Must know how to drive a manual transmission and no power steering No Ac but there is a fan installed. Just installed a Fiamma awning so it’s like having a outside area for getting out of the sun and rain. Makes the Betty have so much more room.Rules Please Read Very Important !!!This is a vintage vehicle and please drive Betty with care. This means shift her smoothly and gently, she is not a fast bus and needs to be taken care of. This means No Haleakala Highway at all !!! She is not a hill climber! No offroad, No unpaved roads etc. No backside of Hana (Where THE Pavement Ends AND THE Dirt Begins). I will know if you do and you will lose half your deposit if you go. If you are looking for something fast and new there are better vehicles than mine for that. This is a classic vehicle and if you are looking for a adventure in a vintage Vw bus then Betty is for you.
There is no smoking or vaping, No Pakalolo! of any kind in Betty, any smell or trace of smoking will cost you a 200.00 penalty.
You are responsible for returning the van in as clean as possible state or there will be a cleaning charge based upon how dirty you leave her. This mean dishes ,surfaces,floors ,etc. Best to return her as clean as you you got her.
Do not drive on sand, if you get her stuck, Stop right away!!!! You are responsible for towing, repairs etc. You will burn the clutch out and destroy the transmission if you do. So please be careful she is not a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Van comes with a full tank of gas and all fluids checked you must return the van the same way. If not you will be charged accordingly. Note Only USE 92 Octane premium Fuel in Betty or she won't run right this is very important!!!!!
You are responsible for all things that you break in the van plates,parts etc. please remember she is a vintage vehicle and is fragile.
Driver must have a valid drivers license be over 25 and proof of insurance before taking the vehicle out,Betty comes with sheets,towels,pillows,plates, utensils,cookware,french press,coffee mugs,cups,cutting board, 2 beach, fridge, chairs,flashlights,shovel, hatchet,fire extinguisher,lantern,stereo system,usb ports to charge your phone etc. 1000 watt inverter with dual batteries so you can plug things in, hairdryer if you must, multiple usb ports to charge your tech and still be able to start her up. she will also have a Maui revealed ultimate guide book that shows campgrounds beaches sites of interest etc.Airport pickup and delivery is available for 25.00 each wayAll non US and Canadian drivers must have a international drivers licenseOnly THE Driver ON THE Contract CAN Drive Betty.
