Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We are pretty flexible, as long as you keep in good communication about what's going on.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
R.
-Empty liquid's bucket on the portable toilet every day to avoid issues -Water typically lasts about a week -Plug-in power-hungry devices before driving to keep the battery topped up. -We have non-stick pans which need to be treated gently - use silicone spatula -Please do not cut on the counter - use a cutting board -Defrost freezer at least once every two weeks to limit ice build up which can damage freezer -Use splash guard while cooking -Turn off 120V at night to save power
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
Our water tank is filled manually with the white RV hose. We have a composting toilet so there is no black water tank/sewage. For electric we have a 30amp receptacle you can use to plug in.
