• No sewage = gray and black water tank capacity limits until dumped.
• Not practical for a full shower without water/sewage hookups.
Autres points à signalerMany campgrounds in northern states close or have limited operations from October to April, particularly with water. It is not recommended to run fresh water lines below 40°F. It is strictly prohibited at 32 and below. Driving a Motorhome in icy or snowy conditions is particularly dangerous. The renter acknowledges and assumes all liability for increased risk associated with winter travel.

Brandon here. Spent a year full-time RVing all around the country with my pup Nitro. I loved travelling down the eastern seaboard through the Gulf and exploring so many beautiful places, meeting so many wondeful people!

Overall, Mr. Brandon McClure was pretty organized. We worked out a pickup time that fit both of our schedules. He did go over the vehicle and the pre-trip checklist. For the most part the trip was easy. We ran into a small challenge the first night as the pop-out was not working. We reviewed the instructions and followed them closely, but the motor never made a sound. After conferring with the tech support, we agreed to check the fuse box the following morning. I did send Brandon a text, but it was late the evening and I didn't expect a response to the following day. But the time he responded, we had managed to find the fuse box in the back bedroom. A red light was illuminated where the fifth fuse was missing. After looking through several drawers, we located spare fuses and installed the correct wattage for the outlet. That fixed the problem. The only others pertained to underinflated rear left tires, which we tried to fix, but we could not located the tool for removing the hub cap to access the tire stem. The final issue had to do with some damage to the outter ladder. We noticed while on the way back at a rest area where we used the designated waste facility to discharge the black and grey tanks, that the right handle of the ladder (connected to the roof) was loose. I climbed up to see what had occurred. It had become separated from the bolt holding it to the roof. I tried to secure it, but the handle (top portion) fell off on the freeway I 79 on the way home from seeing Zach Bryan in Huntington, WV. We took a picture and submitted a note through the app as required. Then I called Mr. McClue the next day. I explained how I discovered the problem. He said it was a comestic issue, but I was concerned as we hadn't backed into anything and didn't remember having something hit our roof. We tried to maintain the 12 foot clearance, but we did go under a tunnel that was unsigned. It may been below 12 feet, but we didn't hear anything. We said we would work with him on replacing it. Then he proceeded to make a bunch of absurd claims in the text messages and filed a claim on our deposit rather than going through the insurance process. We never inspected the ladder prior to taking out the vehicle. He says we are trying to be evasive, but we explained the entire trip. His vehicle has a GPS, so that's not something we can conceal. He didn't like the suggestions about the other issues. Overall, the vehicle drove well. It was pretty clean. The kitchen could be better organized. He could also just be better by following up with a call. We called on Monday at around midday after returning the vehicle to the designated drop-off location, but he was out at a social engagement. He then told Outdoorsy we were 6 to 10 hours late in returning the vehicle, when he knew when we picked it up on Friday at 4:30 on August 29 we would be back Sunday evening, as it is a long drive from Hungtington, WV to Frederick, MD. He even said it was fine to leave at the pickup location, and he would collect it later on Monday. I would say he could much easier to deal with. Sometimes minor accidents happen that aren't even intended or noticed. Ever get a crack in your windshield from an object in the road? No need to be rude to customers and treat them like jerks.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
I am flexible between the 9 am - 9 pm timeframe with advanced notice.
Q.What about excess mileage and generator fees?
R.
Pricing is outlined in the listing description.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
Electric, water, and sewage hook-ups are all located on the driver's side of the RV. Electric is 30-amp. The surge protector must always remain attached. I have a 50-amp and 20-amp converter. Water hose is equipped with a pressure gauge and a water filter. I have two connecting "stinky slinkies" for seamless hookup. These all work at a vast majority of campsites, but some do have unusual set-ups. You would need to purchase any additional equipment (i.e. longer water hose) for non-standard sites.
