2019 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite
Premium quality and outstanding outdoor living experience. This trailer is perfect in all four seasons and as a tandem rental with our AWD Adventure van for boondocking (that's the term for no site services, or camp where you want on BLM land) or developed RV sites alike. We did the research, so you can just enjoy the outdoors, this unit is top notch! The single slide keeps the weight down, but also has perks with an additional outdoor kitchen (yes...that's 2 kitchens total). The ample storage and living format allows this to truly serve a full family of four or four adults out for a good time in the backwoods. The total weight of this trailer is only 5300 lbs, which allows easy towing and meets most maximum length restrictions in the Sierra Nevada high altitude campsites, a major oversight on other rental options. This is one of the lightest dual axle trailers out there, which provides major towing stability and redundancy for tire safety. There are a few specialty upgrades on this unit, like pillow toppers for both beds, ultra fast charge converter, 200 watts of solar and an extended 200Amp Hr lithium battery bank, 27 additional gallons of black/grey tank portable, and 55 total gallons of fresh water, a dream for dry camping.Exterior and Interior Kitchen

Peter and this trailer were excellent, accommodating our ETA to meet and choose location, although we come prepared, trailer included everything you'd need from towels, sleeping bags, chairs, utensils, pots/pans, floor mats, pillows, cleaning supplies, tools, vacuum, generator, a nice little gift basket with snacks, wine, popcorn, keyless entry, no wifi in the middle of the desert, youd need to be in RV-park with wifi just fyi, 50 gallons gives 2 people 3 military-quick-style showers each, very nice to have after dirtbiking in weather. Quick response from host if you have questions mid-trip, overall very satisfied with this host and trailer would definitely recommend!

It’s the attention to detail and the great customer service that makes our stay a five star rating. Clean, cozy, fully stocked with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, fresh clean linen and complimentary gift basket made us feel at home. Best thing is they are pet friendly 🐾 My family of 4 and 2 small dogs absolutely loved our vacation and we look forward to our next year trip.

Sierra Adventure Rentals could not have made my trip any more perfect! Communication was easy. They had my trailer all set up and cooled off by the time my family arrived at camp. The trailer was super clean and comfortable. It fit my family of 3 perfectly. We werent all crowded and on top of each other. The bathroom was very spacious. The beds were super comfortable. Both refrigerators worked amazingly. The trailer came with everything I needed and then some! Will definitely be renting this trailer again next year.

The trailer comes with a weight distribution and receiver hitch for a 2" mount, which is standard on most vehicles that can tow this size trailer. The total weight is approximately 5000 lbs. We also rent our T-350 Ford adventure van, which is capable of towing the trailer also. Trailer brakes are highly recommended, and might already exist on your vehicle. They function by being plugged into the 7-pin cable and the brakes activate on the trailer, when you push your brake in the tow vehicle.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

If using a full hookups site, there is a standard garden hose to connect water, a sewer tube, and electrical plug in. We supply all of those as standard on any rental booking. This trailer excels at no-hookups camping, with a 200AH lithium battery bank and solar, an additional 27 gallons of black/grey water, and a huge 55 gallon fresh water tank, you can last a solid 7 days without being hooked up.
