Meet Shorty, an amazing example of RV camping in the 1980s brought back to perfection. “Take a trip back in time for your next staycation”. In this incredibly preserved 1985 GMC Frontier. This blast from the past boasts an authentic era style interior and exterior. With recent upgrades like a new large fridge, mattress, engine, transmission headers and crossover dual exhaust Shorty flawlessly presents that feel of yesteryear inside and out. While being wonderfully functional and reliable.He sleeps four comfortably in his surprisingly spacious 19.5 foot cabin. He is no larger than a sprinter van making him easy to drive and park. Shorty has 17,000 km on his powerful 350 in.³ 5.7 L classic GM engine. This was the same engine found in the Corvette, Camaro and Trans Am of the day. Many hours and dollars have been poured into how Shorty performs mechanically and looks aesthetically. He will get you to the campground first and be the best looking Glamper there.Load up your pets he loves animals. He also loves music and music festivals. He has an Alpine stereo with four cabin speakers. Shorty is also fully equipped with 35 well thought out standard coach items along with another 88 kitchen bath and living items. Everything you will need for a fantastic Glamping adventure. You can add firewood, a propane stove, chairs, a folding table, generator, bedding, bike rack or whatever you need for that perfect getaway. All with no extra charge.Being in Shorty is like being in a retro parade. You’ll get lots of waves and many thumbs up. He has had many thousands of dollars in mechanical and aesthetic pampering to ensure he runs as beautifully as he looks. It was great to rent Shorty. An authentic retro experience well worth it. The car perfectly suited our needs and was fairly easy to use.

Where can I start with Kevin and Shorty. We had such an amazing trip and it all started when meeting Kevin who was super fun and very informative about shorty and made us feel very welcome. Shorty is a dream to drive and a great way to see this great country. I couldn’t be happier with both Shorty and Kevin. Would highly recommend

Shorty is incredible, as is Kevin, who is always available and helpful. He gave us a one-hour training session to explain everything. The trip to the Rockies went very well with Shorty, even if the passes are climbed at his own pace ;) all the comforts inside, the beds, the hot water...! Perfect! We'll definitely be driving off in one of Kevin's Campervans again!

We had the most wonderful trip. We had the pleasure of meeting a very enthusiastic Kevin who ensured we were well prepped before taking Shorty (RV) out on the road. He showed us how to use all the equipment carefully and explained everything well. He ensured we knew how to drive safely and correctly start the engine, give that Shorty is of a vintage era! We encountered zero issues with the RV on our travels across the beautiful Rockies. We enjoyed our time in the RV and all the retro quirks that come with it. Warning, don't expect to go zooming up any mountains as Shorty forces you to sit and enjoy the magic around you. We will be sure to reach out to Kevin again for our next big road trip and may even consider a bigger model now that we have the grip of driving a wide load!

We had great time with shorty! When I see the pics of shorty at the first time, I knew it’s destiny😁 Vintage, classic, old, whatever I want shorty has them. It was my first time road trip with camping car, But Kevin teach us lots of things kindly, Kevin is the best host ever! Shorty is enough old, so we worried about it, But it was enough to make our road trip perfect! Thanks, Kevin. Thanks, Shorty!

Hello, My name is Kevin and I founded “West Coast Retro Glamper Rentals Inc.” in the winter of 2020. It is my greatest pleasure to provide you with a one-of-a-kind and world class experience in one of my extraordinary retro RVs. I have spared no expense in making them look and perform beautifully. Local RV rental dealerships and my friendly competitors on this and other pier to pier platforms cannot compare to the experience and value myself and my Glampers offer. As my numerous five star reviews demonstrate. The only negative review thus far was from travellers who damaged my Glamper and used negative feedback to leverage their liability. I understand and forgive these beautiful campers. That’s why we have insurance. No reason to be negative. Honesty, transparency and respect create the best renter/host relationships. Mixed in with a ton of fun:-) I want your trip to be fantastic as much if not more than you do:) It’s also important to know that I do not charge one nickel for any add-ons. Mileage, generators, camp chairs, wiener roasting sticks, camp tables, barbeques, bike racks, cargo racks, all kitchen needs, bedding! You name it. And its included. I also make myself available 100% of the time you are on your adventure to answer any questions and guide you through any unforeseen circumstances. And before your trip I will email you a 42 page electronic manual that explains every single detail and function of the Glampers. And to top it off there will be a 1 to 1 1/2 hour orientation before you leave my driveway which almost every renter so far has enjoyed almost as much as the trip.
