We enjoyed travelling in the Roadtrek, but experienced a number of maintenance and functional issues during our 22-day rental. Most significantly, the passenger-side mirror repeatedly folded back while driving. When we offered to have it addressed during a Dodge dealer visit, the host declined to authorize the repair and instructed us to duct-tape the mirror in position. The dealer documented that the mirror needed replacement. A brake-fluid warning also required assessment at the dealer. The brakes were inspected and fluid added. We then discovered the engine coolant was below minimum; the cooling system was checked and coolant added. The visit cost us approximately half a day of our trip. The TPMS warning remained on because one wheel lacked a functioning sensor; the black/grey tank indicators did not work; and the overhead fan screen was damaged and interfered with the fan. The first two were disclosed at pickup. We also spent considerable time cleaning the van at the outset. We completed and enjoyed our trip, but the vehicle was not prepared or maintained to the standard we expected.

Overall an amazing experience. The van was in excellent condition, clean and very comfortable! I look forward to renting again in the future.

We had a wonderful time renting from John, he was responsive and explained everything we needed to know in detail. The vehicle was equipped with everything we needed and it was enough space for two people for the journey. We are looking to rent from a John again and letting family and friends know about it.

The RV rental was a real blast! The vehicle was absolutely spotless and worked exactly as described. It was very comfortable to drive and live in for the week we travelled. John was a fantastic host, answering the few questions we had along the way in a quick and efficient manner. John went over and above to make our trip amazing. We will definitely rent with John again! Highly recommended.
