Jeff provides quick communication and thorough pickup instructions, transparently discussing vehicle issues and resolving problems promptly. However, he has canceled multiple bookings, and one guest felt known issues should be disclosed earlier.
Powerful engine, comfortable to drive
This RV drives easily with a powerful engine and offers a clean, spacious interior with full-size shower and equipped kitchen. However, the slide-out is often finicky, auto-leveling was broken for one guest, and issues like a falling mirror occurred.

4.0Jeff is a wonderful host and communicated quickly leading up to the booking. We are a family of 4 and have never rented an RV before from a private host so something to note is that RVs are VERY fragile and things break all the time. The auto-levelling on this vehicle is broken for several more months until it can get repaired (big draw for us since we're novices), the passenger side mirror fell out of it's housing within 15 minutes of our trip, and the slide-out is very finicky and not always operational unless the vehicle is perfectly level. Jeff was upfront about the slide out and auto-levelling at pick up but it would have been great to know these in advance. The side mirror glass shattered on our trip and a hubcap fell off at some point. We paid for the replacement of both out of our security deposit and were also charged $45 for excess generator usage even though we didn't use it every day. Total extra charges amounted to over $400. Overall, it was a great trip in a very clean RV but ask about functionality of all parts and take photos of mileage and generator hours before you depart.

5.0Jeff is a great guy! Communication was very good and Jeff was very helpful and accommodating. We did have a few technical problems with the RV (it was our first time traveling with a motorhome), but everything was fixed and we still had a great time 👍
