2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Bernadette is a 2019 Sprinter and she is one of a kind, built by a retired contractor and now used as a part-time adventure-mobile. She comes with all necessities for van life including a small bed that can fit two (Tall people be aware! The bed is a modified Queen, 5'8" at its maximum length. You may have to sleep diagonally, which can fit a 6'5" person), a full kitchen including a two-burner propane stove, a large fridge, a sink with running cold-water, an electrical setup that includes solar, a diesel heater, a small porta-potty toilet, and plenty of storage for gear-filled adventures. There is also room in the rear storage for two compacted mountain bikes, skis/boards, and most other gear needs. From our pickup location you have easy access to Stowe, the Green Mountains, the White Mountains, or the Adirondacks; Bernadette can tackle it all! Ce qui est inclusFreshly cleaned bedding
Filled propane tank for Propane stove (optional outdoor stove can be included)
3 camping chairs
First Aid kit
Full kitchenware
Porta-Potty toiletRecommandationsHiking or biking any local locations:
Stowe
Green Mountains National Forest
White Mountains National Forest
Adirondack MountainsWinter camping at ski resorts: Please check with each resort. Sugarbush, Killington and Jay traditionally don't mind overnight campers. Killington, however, does not allow overnight campers due to COVID. Stowe does not allow it.We are happy to give specific recommendations of locations. Autres points à signalerPlease take special note of the shorter bed size. It is a bit wider than a Queen but its longest length is 5'8". If sleeping diagonally then it can fit up to a 6'5" person. The floor is not workable as a sleeping area, unfortunately.Yes, the heater does work really well! The van is insulated so can keep you pretty toasty even in low temperatures and the 7 gallon water container is located inside the van so does keep from being frozen when the heater is on. There is not a water heater to provide hot water for the van, however. There is also no shower. The van is not 4 wheel drive. It drives well on roads with the current all-weather tires it has now. But it is not made to be an off-road vehicle.Remember that resources are limited in a Van of this size: the electrical only has so much juice - e.g. we often turn the fridge off at night. If there is limited sun, then every 3 days or so it may need an external connection to tank up the batteries. There is no smoking in the Van.Long trips are OKAY with us. Just give us a heads up if you're going far.

Hello! Everyone calls me "Dash" because of the hyphen in my first name. My significant other, Em, and I recently bought a converted Sprinter Camper Van. We did some minor renovations to make it our own and now we want to share it with other people! We use it only part-time, as I work full time as a physician, but when we do take it out we are usually hiking our favorite Vermont peaks, trying to catch a good powder day, or just visiting new places where we can chill outside.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We are happy to drop off the Van at a convenient location for you! Most commonly that would be the Burlington International Airport or in downtown Burlington. We also have easy free parking available at our usual pickup location if you need to drop off a car before using the Van.
Q.How big is the bed?
R.
Please take special note of the shorter bed size. It is a bit wider than a Queen but its longest length is 5'8". If sleeping diagonally then it can fit up to a 6'5" person. The floor is not workable as a sleeping area, unfortunately.
Q.How well does the heater work?
R.
The diesel heater works really well! It runs off the house battery and an accessory diesel fuel line from under the vehicle. The van is also insulated so can keep you pretty toasty even in low temperatures. Additionally, the 7-gallon water container is located inside the van so does keep from being frozen when the heater is on. There is not a water heater to provide hot water for the van, however.
Q.How well does the van do in snowy/rainy weather?
R.
The van is not 4 wheel drive but when driven carefully it drives well on wet or snowy roads with the current all-weather tires it has now. It is not made to be an off-road vehicle, however.
