5.0We have had an excellent experience with Gwaii Adventures. We rented the Nissan Xtrail called "Comet" for one week in September 2026. This isn't a camper, but rather a hardy 4 x 4 travel vehicle. A lovely and informative Gwaii Adventures staff person (Kay) met us promptly at the airport to take us from the Sandspit Airport, across the ferry to Skidegate Landing to pick up the vehicle and have the vehicle orientation. She provided us with lots of information about great places to visit, history, road/driving safety (restrictions) and practical information such as where/when best to purchase groceries, among other things. Although Comet was an older vehicle, it ran very well and was a great vehicle to have for our trip - no issues! Kyle and Kay were wonderful to work with, and we liked their dog!
