Résumé de l'évaluation

Highly accommodating and flexible
Jason offered airport pickup/drop-off, helped with cancelled flights and temporary lodging, and provided extra camping supplies like chairs and a table. He was communicative and flexible with timing.
Surprisingly easy to drive
The van features low mileage, a reliable engine, backup/360 cameras, and sensors. It has rear seats with car seat attachments, an outdoor shower, comfortable bed, solar-powered fridge, and a bike rack. Standing room inside is appreciated.

5.0Love the “Pea Pod” as we affectionately called it. We drove with our toddler so we needed rear seats. This was one of the few vans with rear seats with seat belts and car seat attachment points. Prior to baby life my wife and I road tripped for months at a time out of an old Toyota Tacoma and another time out of an old Subaru Forester. This was our first time trying out “van life”. It was SO NICE to be able to stand up inside and not have to shuffle everything around to set up the bed. We were able to swim in the ocean, spray ourselves off with the cold shower out the back of the van (which feels warm after going into the Pacific Ocean), then go inside to change the little one. Another thing that I don’t think was advertised is how new this rig is! It only has 20k miles. Engine sounds really nice and reassuring to drive with minimal fear of breaking down. I’m not sure what year it is, but it comes with back up cameras and 360 Birds Eye view of the car when you’re backing up. There are sensors and cameras in the back and the front that warn you when you’re too close to anything. Definitely found that helpful when parking in the city. Surprisingly easy to drive. Only tip is to plan city parking in advance because you most likely can’t park in any parking garages due to clearance. Another neat tip: you can park in line after the last ferry and sleep there for the first morning ferry. We did this for the Black Ball Ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria (Canada), and the BC Ferry from Nanaimo (Departure Bay) to Horseshoe Bay. For the latter ferry, line up in lane 5. This is especially helpful if you don’t have a ferry reservation and want to be first in line for a FCFS ticket. You can line up even if you have a reservation. Jason was also great and a gracious host! Long live the Pea Pod!

5.0Rented the van for a short overnight trip into the mountains for some hiking. Jason was a very flexible and communicative host, going out of his way to meet and drop me off at the airport. Van was as advertised, bed surprisingly comfortable. Recommend!

5.0The van was the perfect vehicle for our trip to Shambhala and I cannot thank Jason enough for his hospitality. The bed was comfortable, the amount of space was perfect, and the van was very clean and tidy. What really made our experience was the fact that the solar power kept the battery bank full, and the fridge running our whole entire trip. It made it easy to store and keep perishable foods clean and fresh without worrying about ice. It had a lot more space than I had imagined. We were able to store 3 cartons of Costco eggs, bacon, sausage, lettuce, deli meats, mayo, mustard, and much more more. The solar cell kept the battery fully topped off by sunset, and we had extra power for charging other devices. We were never out of power. Jason also included 2 chairs and a table for us as well as other camping supplies making our packing much easier. The van drove smooth with low mileage and no mechanical issues, everything worked like a charm. We included the bike rack with our rental and it held 2 bikes on the front of the van and we never had an issue. Overall, very happy with our experience and we would definitely rent again for a future trip. Thanks again Jason!

5.0Choosing the van over a hotel & rental car was one of the coolest decisions we’ve made. We had some trouble with flights getting cancelled & delayed on the way in, but the host Jason was so accommodating. He kept up with our flight, picked us up from the airport, helped us out with a place to stay when we no longer had enough time to find one, & even dropped us back off at the airport to fly back home. We had no trouble getting around in the van & made some pretty amazing core memories. Would definitely book this van again in the future. Thanks again, Jason!

5.0Jason was easy to deal with, answered all my questions, made the rental available earlier when our times changed and made pickup and drop off a breeze. The vehicle was so smooth I'd definitely rent from Jason again!
