I would not rent from this host again. The van was provided with expired plates/registration, and that was only the beginning. On our nine-night Yellowstone and Grand Teton trip, the alternator was not properly charging the house batteries. We lost reliable use of the refrigerator, cooktop, heater, outlets, phone charging, CPAP, and even interior lights. We spent far too much vacation time troubleshooting: sending voltage readings, photos and videos, trying resets, running the engine, and driving for hours because we were told it should recharge the batteries. Several troubleshooting steps were not in the manual. Support was frustrating. Despite repeated requests, they would not get on a phone call and instead texted that they were in meetings or at the movies. We changed meal plans, ate out more, stopped relying on refrigerated food, and adjusted the trip around the van. Afterward, they refunded $540 on a $1,620 base rental, called it an “inconvenience,” and denied a larger refund. They also criticized us over a rock chip we had already reported during Outdoorsy checkout. Expired registration, major electrical failure, poor support. Choose another host.
